Okay everyone... A few of you have asked me to post a large version of my new avatar with Carmen's blue toes over my nose. I wanted to give you a little background before we did though and throw in a little extra cute photo of Carmen that you should all like - and probably be jealous of.
My avatar photo was done after the set. We were being goofy on this brick wall that was out at the end of a park at a busy intersection in Baltimore City. There was a bus stop to my left (my left in the photo) that had about 8 guys standing there that were looking on quite a bit. We also had a homeless man wandering around on the other side of the park area and a few women in business suits standing by a car (just out of view of Carmen's photo). To be honest, I was wanting to do the photo, but felt a little odd with all those around. Carmen called me chicken shit so I grabbed her feet for my photo and rubbed them. That was going to be my new avatar - me rubbing them. But while I was there and humbled by Carmen's name calling, I took her toes and pushed my nose right into those smelly, dirty toes. She laughed with her cute laugh and took the photo. It turned out to be cute and I decided to make my profile shot this one instead.
The photo of Carmen was taken because I had teased her a few times about having smelly feet. They weren't like really sweaty or anything (not like the photos from the day before with her in the boots and walking park trails all day). Carmen layed across the brick wall and began sniffing her shoes, telling me to take a couple like that. Who was I to argue? I got a couple of them and she said between shots that they actually did smell a little and was pointing up around the toe area of the shoe. I grabbed one and smelled it. I could smell them a little, but they weren't too bad (which means good to us). I can only imagine if she had been in those shoes all day though. I still wished I had gotten my avatar shot the day before though right after she pulled off the boots. They were actually WET with beads of sweat from walking in those boots she had on for a few miles. But I digress!
