I'm totally confused by the Chargers pick for HC????

Big mistake letting Cam Cameron go to Miami, big mistake.

Good luck with Norv Turner. You will hate him by week 8

I was kinda upset when they first announced it, but I came to realize that Norv is a great offensive mind and will do great in the process of developing Rivers and making him better then what he already is.

Remember the Chargers have a lot of young talented players on their team with 15 pro bowlers, so I don't think it will be as bad for him as it was for the Raiders. That team is messed up, and will continue to be that way (as bad as this may sound) until Al Davis passes away. He was a great owner back in the day but he is in no condition to be running a pro football team now.

Norv was our offensive coordinator during LT's rookie season and the Chargers haven't changed his scheme since he left in I think it was 2001.

Look what Norv did for the 9ers, They were as bad if not worst then the raiders before he joined them as their offensive coordinator.

I think we'll be ok, but only time will tell. I hope your wrong Sash! [Fingers Crossed]

Hey there!

I agree. With that team being so stockpiled with talent Nerv should be ok, However, Nerv Turner is Nerv Turner, Just ask WU.

I'm just surprised Cam Cameron was allowed to leave.

As far as the Al Davis thing. I agree that things will never change as far as the Raiders go until Al Davis dies. But, the Raiders will never be the same onece Lord Raider passes.

I think Lane Kiffin is going to surprise everybody! Al has stepped out of the box this time with this kid. We have a first round pick, a deep draft and good solid young defense. Remember the Raiders are only four years removed from being in the Super Bowl. Al davis will win again! [Big Grin]

Norv will be able to work with this offense and will probably make Rivers a lot better too. They already have a great team, but it might be Denver's year in the AFC west this year.
