I have always hated pointed toes. Looks unnatural. Mainly devised by photographers to make a womens leg look longer. Gimme a natural pose with relaxed toes any day.

Or toes spread.

That's a great point actually because many fashion photographers use the pointed toe pose for precisely that reason. Despite being a huge legman myself, I'm not generally a fan of long legs on gals, so perhaps that may account for why I'm not nuts about the pointed toes thing. However, I'd sooner see the pointed toes pose than the spread toes pose that we were discussing in one of the other threads.
