Sorry this question is not up to our usual sexually reveling, titilating or informational quality but I have a practical question about toe rings. I've asked my wife to get a good quality one that she can wear 24/7 as a gift for me for my birthday. I gave her some links from some of my favorite toe ring sites (how subtle huh?) and we started looking at them last night. She asked a practical question about them that I've never seen or heard anyone alude to.
There's two basic kinds of toe rings, plain bands and frillier, fancier, decorative ones (like with flowers or other designs). Even though I would gladly take a plain band or multiple bands, she likes the frilly ones. But since she has to occasionally wear stockings/hose, she was wondering whether those types of rings would "catch" her hose when she puts them on. (Fortunately she doesn't want to get into taking it on and off) If any of your GF's or SO's wear toe rings like that could you ask them what their experience has been with stockings/hose? Many thanks!

I guess it would depend on how "frilly" the ring is. Can you link to some pictures for examples?

you also want to buy one thats a complete band without a space on the underside.the ones that arent full bands are likly to snag, especially the kind that end with a flat edge instead of rounded..

Thanks for your reply. I wasn't very clear. By "good quality" I meant a one piece, non-adjustable, fitted toe ring instead of an adjustable one, though I know you can get "good quality" adjustable ones as well. Not only do they stay on better, (and most women can, and do wear them 24/7) but because of the circular design all around the ring (with many of them) even if the ring slides around on her toe, the design is always visible.
I emailed all of the toe-ring sites that I had given my wife the links to and asked them. All of them said that their rings are polished enough that putting on hose should pose no problem at all. That's great news, even though she doesn't have to do it often, if it's too much of a hassle gettin it on or off, or it's destroying her hose, I'm afraid she'll stop wearing it or forget to put it on for a long time.

My wifey very rarely wears stockings. Actually, now that i think of it, hardly anyone does anymore (here in Oz anyway). Well, being summer, thats understandable. Wifey has some frilly ones too. She sells Avon, and got them for nix. I bought her a gold one for Xmas. She loves it and it looks so good. Must get a pic of it for ya's!

My wife wears hers 24/7. I got her a couple from toerings.com last spring for my birthday. She hasn't taken them off yet. This winter she has been wearing hose to work and hasn't had any trouble with them snagging on the design at all. She actually has more trouble with them catching on her toenails. So, what she does to put hose on is to scunch each leg up and hold the toe part wide open when she slips it over her toes.

i just say get a band. anything gems or rhinestones would snag on pantyhose and would suck to wear in shoes (pinches, i tried, it sucks.) unless they are encrusted right into the metal.as long as it's flat she shouldn't have a problem.

I have to agree with daemoness. Get a band/woven band or a set 3(2 thin bands and woven one in the middle). Suggest she wears the ones with gens etc, when wearing open toes shoes. Dress up those toes when they are on show. The complete bands are the best for 24/7 wearing according to my wife.

I'm in Melbourne. I dont work in the city anymore, so i dont get to see the office girls anymore. But, i do work 100 metres from a very well know beach, where the rich folk live. Its all bare, tanned, smooth legs. Daily, they walk by my window, bikini clad, many times barefoot. I cant work anymore! lol. Walking up the street is getting very dangerous too. I try to take pics and vids on my phone of all the flip flops and bare feet and pretty tanned feet with toe rings and anklets - but i feel like every one is watching me!
And let me tell ya's, every female has toes rings. From the youngest teen, to the most brazen middle aged MILF.

Guys and Gals- thanks so much for all the info. It appears that most, if not all of the toe ring manufacturers have taken great care to make sure their toe rings can be worn 24/7 and with stockings/hose. Great to hear.
