I recently went out with my ex girlfriend to dinner and were catching up, hadn't seen each other in like 4 months. Anyway, we dated for 3 months and i had her feet a few times, the 1st time i was giving her a massage and we all know where i started. Well she just looked at me and said you have a foot fetish. I think i just said is that a problem and she just shook her head and smiled and closed her eyes and i went to town kissing and licking them. Well this girl has indian in her so she had a great tan skin and the best smelling feet i have ever smelled. Well this night we were out she said she just wanted to remain friends but that her feet were off limits. She admitted to me that she hates feet and only let me indulge in hers because i liked it but it did nothing for her. So she said i might want to think about that referring about us ever getting back together. She also said she would have to keep her feet covered around me because she knows i like it. she said if i offered her a massage no kissing her feet because she knows i like it. Why is it that if girls know your getting pleasure from something but at the same time they are benefiting, its not ok. Needless to say i now look at her alot different and the conversation was kind of like a slap in the face. This girl is really into shoes, a shoe fetish u might say but hates feet, i dont get it. I now see why she is an ex, her communication sucked. I'll still always remember her feet that smell was incredible. How would any of you feel if you heard this from an ex girl after dating, would it piss you off??

It'd upset me, sure, but at the same time I kinda' think it's cool of her...
I'm not trying to play devil's advocate here...The reason I say she's cool for doing that, since she obviously doesn't want you as anything more than a friend, is that she's not "leading you on" by letting you indulge in something that you clearly derive some kinda' sexual satisfaction out of...
A good lot of folks can turn on the carnal desires when the moment of gratification is there, and then just as easily turn it all off when the moment is over. The question is, are you one of these people? If so, does she know that you're one of these people?
Or are you apt to think the feelings that often linger behind the actions may exist? For all she knows, you might start to develop deeper feelings for her if she let's you massage her feet...getting some form of gratification...
In other words, if she gives you an inch, it could be possible that you might assume the mile is sure to follow.
And it sounds to me that this girl values your friendship...and doesn't want to run the risk of losing it by playing with fire like that.
Basically you've got two options...hang with her like a bud and be her friend, or ditch her because those pretty feet of her's are out of the question...and unfortunately in this situation it doesn't sound like you can have your cake and eat it too.
Again, you have every right in the world to be upset...what guy wouldn't feel disappointed? But at the same time don't let it literally piss you off, because I honestly think her reasons for her limitations could very well be good ones. She's not doing this to be mean to you Bro.
Now you just have to make your decision.

yea obvoiusly u could be upset by hearing that she got no pleasure out of it besides giving u ur pleasure. Ive done things for gfs that didnt neccessarily do a ton for me but i did cuz i wanted to satisfy them...not that uncommon. and do u really expect to just have her feet still when shes ur EX? since shes your ex it doesnt surprise me at all that she doesnt want you to kiss her feet...

I think Lou's right- she wants you to be a platonic friend amd consequently doesn't want anything physical messing it up. As he mentioned it is big of her to want NOT to "lead you on." The question now is- is that what you want? Can you take being just friends after having her feet?

Thanks for the thoughts guys. Actually, she has not closed the door on us getting back together, she said she just wants to take things alot slower and keep it on a friends level. She's been hurt before and wants to slow things down between us. Can you really do that after you've dated a girl? Thats why we got into talking about our relationship and she told me the things I mentioned in the original post. So if the girls not closing the door on a relationship, yet wants to scale back as friends, how can i not take that as getting jerked around or maybe strung along? She claims we kind of skipped the friends part. To me it seems like shes just playing games. She said she will still(date) me, but with those rules mentioned above. How many (friends) do you date? She said I would be the exception. Personally I think its twisted

From what I just read, here's the ACTUAL truth: She's found another man. I hate to say it, but that's what she did. She told you "my feet are off limits and I see you nothing more than a friend". That ALONE says she's found another guy without trying to boldly tell you.
