Ever wonder why so many people think having a foot fetish is some kind of perversion, including it seems alot of the guys that have it?
You can be a ass man, tit man, leg man, etc, and thats considered "normal". but if people know that your a foot man ,well you know the reaction you get, or think your going to get.
I think deep down there are more women than you know ,that understand that the female foot is a major attraction to alot of men.
If not why do they spend all that time and money on pedicures, toe rings, polish, ankle bracelets, shoes and on and on.
Hey guys I love female feet, always have and always will, if that makes me a pervert then so be it, but I damn sure ain't going to change or try too hard to hide it ! [Thumbs Up] [Thumbs Up]

Normally I'd just be irked over the whole mistyped "a lot" thing -- being the strict-about-writing kind of guy that I am -- but...I have to say that this is indeed a very good question [Smile] .

I wonder at what point in history it officially became "weird" to find female feet attractive. More importantly, I wonder why it became so.

The next time someone calls our fetish weird, I think the response should be to ask them why they feel that way. I imagine the conversation could go a little like this:

"Why do you think it's weird to find feet attractive?"

"Well...because feet aren't sexy."

"Aren't curves considered sexy?"

"Yes."

"Isn't smooth skin considered sexy?"

"Yeah."

"Don't feet tend to have both of these?"

"Well, yeah, but..."

"Then how are feet 'not sexy'?"

"...I...uh..."

a few things to consider

1- thank the media!!!! all those stories about perv's that have feet as a common link.. not their crime as a common link!!!! (even CSI is guilty of such story lines)

2- Previous times (folks who now are older than 60) had stronger defined quidelines of what is polite.. and feet wasn't part of the equation.. the emphasis was on "keeping a level eye" and the main visible target of 'misbehavior' was looking at breats and butts! therefore, that got more attention first... (i have worked with enough elderly to know.. a breats and butt guy got grief back in his day just like feet guys in our day)

3- society takes a while to embrace a new 'erotic' zone. two centuries ago, breasts weren't accepted as so erogenous like they are now (some cultures haven't got there yet either). and during the transition... those who brave the 'learning curve' first get the most labeling and grief

4- Feet are getting that transition acceptance now. My friends in their 50's and above don't accept feet as openly, but in private accept it and say they knew all along, but not it' ok to talk about it. friends in their 40's are shy about it, but won't avoid the topic as bad. friends in their 30's are starting to be ok with it and go for it.. friends in their 20's aare just fine with it and way open about it. my acquaintance in their late teens seem to not even flinch.. and i've seen a few share feet moments without the need to be as intimately close.

5- What is labled as perverted is now much better defined! criminal behaviors are now better seperated from just enjoying feet. women repsond better to you like feet than you have a fetish (thank the media again for that)

those are my points of interest.. feel free to fully disagree!

I wouldn't say that there are more women than we know that understand the attraction their feet may have. I think most women aren't all that aware that their feet can be a sensual and erogenous body part. Most woman I know have been very surprised to find out that their feet can be such a turn on to some guys.

The reason why is because of a little something called "fashion". Pedicures, polish, toe rings, etc., happen to be an "in" thing right now. Plus, for women, it's just part of looking good.

Cuz this is how far the def. has evolved since it was coined in the 1800's - basic erosion has more progress than this -

Fetishism is characterized as a disorder when there is a pathological assignment of sexual fixation, fantasies or behaviors toward an inanimate object -- frequently an item of clothing -- such as underclothing or a high-heeled shoe -- or to nongenital body parts -- such as the foot. Only through use of this object can the individual obtain sexual gratification. The fetishist usually holds, rubs or smells the fetish object for sexual gratification or asks their partner to wear the object during sexual encounters. Fetishism is a more common occurrence in males, and the causes are not clearly known. Fetishism falls under the general category of paraphilias, abnormal or unnatural sexual attractions.

I certainly don't have a fetish by this rigorous definition. I have a sexy tanned body fetish, a chic that can dance fetish, a big blue eye fetish, a slender soft hand fetish, a sexy ab fetish, and pony tail pulled thru a ball cap fetish -

Divorce was a big deal in the 70's and that certainly isn't abnormal only 30 years later.

Perhaps this is why the div rate is sooo high - you wine and dine, spend 3x monthly salary (gross or net? - DeBeer's still won't say) on a ring and do missionary for 60 years? Com' on now! Life is meant to be lived.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. We DO NOT need for our love of feet to become too well known, too mainstream. Ever wonder why there's a law that requires women to cover their nipples? Because the powers that be know that men are attracted to them. We don't want the same thing to happen to feet.

I agree with this, though I think the number of women who know may be growing since the attraction has become a more known thing.

But that raises the question of just who they're trying to look good for when they step outside. I imagine they're attempting to catch the eyes of men just as much as they're trying to impress other women -- if not more so.

I may not "need" for it to become too mainstream, but I wouldn't mind if it did. And perhaps you're just kidding, but I also doubt that there would ever be a law requiring feet to be covered; legs are known as an attractive spot for men as well, and it's fine for women to wear shorts in public.
