As a little boy my mother told me I would go under the table when she had the ladies over for talk or cards. The women would comment how cute I was taking their shoes off looking at their feet. I was three so I guess they did not mind. Also they would laugh when I pulled the dress up to look underneath. I do not remember this I am in my fifties. I know I am not the only person with this experience. Would like to hear others and share common times being under the table.

there was a short period of my youth i did similar, minus the looking up the dresses.
i used to do this mainly when i was bored and had nothing to do. it involved a lot of courage because in those days, i'd get a spanking if i did anything that wasn't cool by my folks standard.
so. long story short. the best memories was when i figured i'd get some flats (my mom always wanted her guest out of their heels for comfort sake)... and i'd offer to retrieve their heels for them. but i had to look like i didn't really care for it so mom wouldn't get mad at me. (she didn't want me to be a 'pansie' for being around women too much)
one day, which started a short trend, i went under the table to retrieve a 'toy' of mines... saw that two of the women had taken their heels off. i took the heels.. smelled them... loved it... and then.. scooted out to get the flats. came back and slid under the table and put the flats where the heels were.. so that when they put their feet back, they got the flats instead of heels.
that got a laugh out of one of the ladies there.. and then they all looked under.. said i was the sweetest boy they knew.. they all patted me on the head.... one even tickled me with her hosed feet.
what they didn't know.. i was soaking it all in.. later to reflect on.
great memories for me, but i'm too rushed to share another story today.. i'll be back with another story later.
