to riding a roller coaster. Most of us ride for the excitment and fear that it produces. We know it's safe but it is a safe way to play with fear. It's exciting. We deep down know we are not endangering ourselves but fun and exciting to experience the fear.

Fantasizing about your wife with another is dangerous but not really a threat. All the exitment but no REAL risk!
