I have been asked to show the University and the city for some visitorīs groups. I would like to get many ideas of how I can take photos of the groups (itīs most girls, I think) with shoes off. One idea is to bring them to the lake and suggest a foot bath, but do you have any other ideas?

Hmmm, a foot painting event or making foot moulds or squashing grapes to make wine or maybe even a tickling contest? i hope some of these ideas r good.

I think itīs not that way. The students are coming in groups, 3-8 persons. Sometimes there are a techer from the university with us. I need group photos, but itīs difficult to find out a way to take them...

if there is a place with abstract art, you can do more with that as a backdrop. and not have all the gals take their shoes of.. just a few, then have the others do someting 'absract' with their other stuff. that way, the attention is not on feet, but the art of the picture.
example.. a metal at piece. have a few gals without their shoes sit in the piece. have a few more folks (guys more than gals) with the backpack in weird poses across their torso.. have them all looking different directions in the picture... have one gal holding her hair in a wind blown position while looking away from it. have someone sitting on the floor in front of the group intently studying the ski. that way, no one suspects it's a foot pic, but you've got plenty of feet in the view!!

p.s. by the way, if you're not sure how to incorporate art into the pic, Malory has one somehwere here where she's standing between statues.. use that to your fullest! I have one almost like that, but under strict 'orders' not to post anywhere.. sorry

A good point. I assume that you are familiar with the nature of the job and those things with which you can get away. It doesn't belabor the point to mention that if there is any question about crossing any lines don't do it.

All right, I have a cople of ideas for this one. But if there is a teacher there watching you, why would you want to try to see their feet? But if you are brave enough. And in all of these, make sure you take your shoes and socks off , and have the teacher do the same too, so it doesn't seem weird.
Well, I figure I might as well do a "David Letterman Top 10 List" for this one.
Top 10 ways to take photos of the groups with shoes off
10. When you get to the point where you want to take the picture, have everyone take their shoes off, because the floor will get dirty otherwise.
9. If there is a huge fountain (one that you can sit or stand on), have a cople of girls take off their shoes, and have them pose sitting on the fountain.
8. Play the sock game with them.
7. Just tell them "kick your shoes off and relax".
6. Force them to run in the track (if they are wearing high heels or boots, its possible they might take them off; and if they are wearing flip-flops, then you already won)
5. Who wants a free pedicure????
4. Have them go to health office to take their height, be sure to have them measured without shoes on.

2. Bring them to an empty dorm with a "shoes-off policy"

1. Do a "guess-the-toenail-color" game with the girls.

Thank you for all good advices. Itīs not my job - Iīm a student myself, but they have asked me to help because Iīm a member of a students organization. I donīt want to cross any line, therefore I asked for good ideas. Last spring I had a group and the girls asked to take a photo of them. I suggested a "photographi" and all them took shoes and socks off. lots of sweaty but pretty feet .
