I haven't tried it there and this may be old news but have you tried savetube.com?
I gather, also, that the recent versions of Real Player will save flash-player material. Then again, I'm this really old guy who only hears about things long after they introduce the stuff.

i dunno, i used youtube downloader for youtube clips, ive never tried it on other sites

i downloaded real player and all of a sudden when i place the arrow on the top corner of the clip a "do you want to download" option comes up
works for youtube too

Ditto on that. Real Player can imbed itself in your browser to do it automatically at the click of the mouse.

Doesnt seem to work with Firefox though, says its not compatible, or is there a way around it?
