I'm going out on limb here from my usual type of posts, but whatever.
Between having a girlfriend, hooking up and self service, since I was about 13 (I'm 27), I've gone maybe a week without having an "O".
After being out of the game for bit, I've been talking to this new girl. We are into each other. I think eventually we'll hookup. Until then, as a personal challenge, and an act of restraint and self discipline, I'm not going to engage in "self service" for 6 weeks or until I hook up with this new girl, whichever comes first (excuse the pun).
It's been five days and I'm holding up quite well. I just avoid internet porn like the plague and focus on studying for CFA. I've also been doing kegals like crazy, they tend to kill erections after about a 100 reps.
Anyhow, how long have you guys/gals gone without having a big bang of your own? And for you smart asses, I'm talking about post losing your virginity and/or learning self service.

I don't understand why you are doing the 6 week plan, but hopefully you'll get with the gal before then. My worry would be holding off all that time and then finally doing the deed would make you last for say... 30 seconds. Not a great first sexual impression!
Anyway for myself I think the longest I go these days may be a couple of days. Any longer and I lose sleep, can't focus, bad concentration, etc.

i dont think i have ever kept track but i think it's been around a week also and only when something unusual is happening in my life.. like spending a week with our family on vacation or i am under incredible amounts of stress from work. typically though.. whether its from my wife or on my own, almost every day.

It's a personal challenge LeDaemon, to prove to myself that I'm not a slave to having an orgasm. Think Buddhist Monk. I'm always looking for ways to test my self discipline e.g. eating healthy, getting good grades, hitting the gym hard, using condoms every time and getting tested etc. This just seemed like a real challenge, that's the appeal.
With respect to performance. I'm doing the kegals to practice maintaining control. And as an added layer of defense, I'm going to tell her what I'm up to. That way if I'm like virgin (hee), touched for the very first time -- she'll know why.

my longest dry spell (post learning self service) was definitely when I went to military training camp for a month.
we could not masterbate there, plus they put saltpeter in our water (thank god) LOL
and any other dry spells that may compare are when i may go on trips to visit family or whatever for a few days. even then i sometimes break down and wack that little piglet.

i think your challenge in reverse makes alot more sense. If your only concerned about the 'challenge' of it then find challenge in not going more then an hour at a time between sessions. Your biology is meant to be doing this thing and doing it alot, choose the course thats natural. Plus as someone who is concerned about your physical state and your long term health, masturbation should be a mandatory part of your workout. You have absolutely nothing REAL to gain from abstaining.. except for maybe some disappointing moments spent with your next brief encounter with a partner.

This is a personal challenge that I would refuse to undertake. An orgasm is among the greatest gifts bestowed upon human beings. I suspect that if more people vigorously pursued the orgasm as a goal the world would be a much more relaxed place.
The longest I've gone since I discovered the orgasm? Two days, possibly 3 - tops; had a small accident with a Prince Albert piercing.

Saltpeter is just a rumor. The longest I went was 5-6 weeks in basic traing. It was easy though because of all the stress. We also didn't have anything of a sexual nature around us.Showering with 20 other dudes will kill any shot of arousal for weeks.
