Actually, it is. An old girlfriend is a NP who new of my penchant for stockings/tights. She said she has NEVER seen a floor nurse in stockings/nylons/tights.

My wife is a nurse and now only does office work, but when she worked in the hospital for 12, sometimes 16 hour shifts her feet were a treat aftewards. They were so soft, warm, moist....ahhh those were some fun times.

Tis is, of course, all dependent on country, but here in the UK, they basically dress like they do on "Scrubs" - in scrubs and shoe-wear/sock-wear is totally a choice as long as it doesn't cause obvious safety risks (heels etc) and they're predominantly white.

Trainers are the norm and no one can see what socks they wear, so even if there are restrictions...who the fuck will check people's socks so as to enforce them?
