1. A previous girlfriend (one that only lasted a month, despite us knowing each other for years) wore sandals and flip-flops a lot during the warmer seasons. However, she was completely put off by foot fetishism, as I overheard her telling my sisters about a friend of hers who had a foot fetish, and then said it was disgusting (or something to that effect) and wondered how anyone could find feet attractive. She also once told me that feet looked like deformed hands. Her feet were pretty nice, but this was before I became open in real life about my foot fetish, so I never told her about mine.
2. My most recent girlfriend--upon telling her about my foot fetish--was okay with it, but then said that she hated her feet. So, as a joke New Year's resolution, I said that I was going to make her feel better about them. A few months and a foot worship session later, she told me that she did feel better about them, but unfortunately the relationship fell apart two months later for other reasons. A shame too, as I could see us going places. ...In case anyone's wondering, her feet did not look as good as #1's feet, but they weren't bad, either.

No. I could never date a woman who is not into her own feet and isn`t open towards sexual fetishes. I´m sure some women can be changed during a relationship (like in your second example) -- but if (in the long run) she still wouldn`t be into foot fetish the relationship just wouldn`t work for me.

I'm lucky to have a woman in my life who likes her feet and finds foot fetish sexually appealing. My answer to your question, HELL NO to both scenarios. Any woman who thinks foot fetish is gross is not worth wasting your time on because you will never be fufilled. Reminds me of a Savage column where a guy wrote a letter saying that his girl hated the fact he had a foot fetish and he was torn because she was smart, funny great personality blah blah blah... If a woman wrote a letter about her sexual needs not being fulfilled but her boyfriend was so nice and funny I highly doubt all of those same women who think foot fetish is so gross would tell that woman she was selfish. Sorry just had to get that off my chest.
In regards to the second question at this point I hate having to work I'd rather a woman just already understand the sexual power her feet have over some men.

but i lived through it and got to sniff and lick their feet, and boy some of the best feet out there have been from women who don't realize how great their feet are.

I did. She was more of a rebound. She's actually on my site too. She said she hated having her feet touched, although she said otherwise when she was tipsy. Her name is Paige Noelle and it's a shame too because I liked her feet.

For myself, it would be a complete waste of time to get involved with a woman who hated her feet and would not think too highly of a guy with a foot fetish.
In my opinion, if you do get hooked up with a woman like that, it will only be a matter of time before one would seek out someone on the side to fullfill that particular need.

And what's funny is it should go without saying, everything you said. But if people stopped settling in general (not just with feet, but with jobs, their station in life, etc.), I wager people would be a lot happier. I think settling has become something of the norm to the point that NOT settling is now a Herculian effort because its so ingrained into our psyche.

I was once, but it was when i was younger and much more insincere about the whole fetish thing. I brought up that her feet were cute and she went on a tangent about how gross feet were. She lasted about a month. Its funny, my girlfriend and I were just talking about this ex yesterday and how gross she turned out to be
If a woman isn't into foot love, or isn't into you enough to provide foot love, move along. Definitely shouldn't be the deciding point of a relationship, but you likely won't be compatible and will only lead to much tension later on.
At this point in my life, i think its funny when girls find it gross. I have the most beautiful girlfriend with amazing feet, its no skin off my back. Its almost like when you know people are afraid of insects, so when you find a spider you show them/throw it at them.
Its funny that i found this topic because of what happened yesterday. My girlfriend's cousin's fiancee HATES feet. Hates em, doesn't even like to talk about them. She has really cute feet and obviously takes great care of them, but she doesn't even like her own feet. Probably why she takes such good care of her own, because everyone hates busted feet. So my girlfriend was hanging out with her yesterday and brought up that I take pictures of feet... She doesn't know that I have a foot fetish. I wish I could have seen her face, she gets so animated about it. I'm sure she doesn't think any less of me (why would she?), and my only regret is that I didn't see her reaction. I would never show her my feet pictures (that would make things wayyy too uncomfortable), but i got a good laugh when I heard about her reaction.
