I mean, seriously. I honestly feel like I'm losing brain cells by reading them. I know I shouldn't if that's the case, but sometimes--like with YouTube videos--I want to see what people have to say about a certain celeb's feet.
...Makes me ashamed to share the same community with 3/4's of them. They act like preteens, but I'm well aware that they are most likely full-grown men acting like goddamn monkeys under the mask of anonymity that the Internet provides (unless you're on Blizzard's forums; in case you haven't heard, you're going to have to use your real name now whenever you post on those forums. As if I needed another reason to not play World of Warcraft).

The anonymity the internet provides is often referred to as the catalyst for this sort of behavior- on the other hand I think it geniunely shows that uninhibited thoughts and feelings of people. I not viewed the WOW or Wikifeet thing-but your description of the comments in general is pretty kind- We live in a country filled with human garbage and I'm amazed we can even function day to day as a society after reading many You Tube comments.
