I was checking out the latest on the tube, when I came to a page wanting me to sign in. Ok. I figured it was like how sometimes on You Tube, it wants you to sign in. I did, but came to a new page:
"You can view every video on Foot Fetish Tube for just $29.95 per month." AND "Why is there a fee to view other members videos?" "To help meet hosting costs."
I could be wrong, but since Foot Fetish Tube runs on the same principle as YouTube, Xtube, and other such tube sites, this means that these sites don't have original content. Instead, their content is user submitted. As such, wouldn't charging people, making money off of other's work, a breach of copyright? The content I usually submit is stuff through my affiliation with Men In Pain or Divine Bitches.
I understand the need to help with hosting costs. However, I think alternatives are needed. Maybe do like Veoh, sometimes shows 15 - 30 second commericals before getting to the actual content. Or maybe do like YouTube's started, and display ads on top of the the videos, at the bottom of the screen. Thoughts?
