Oh it is going to feel so nice to finally get in some photos today. Yes, imagine that, I haven't done photos in quite some time. I'll get more into that in a bit.
I'm going to do a photo set or two with Charlee today. The last time we shot was in September. We took a trip down to Kings Dominion to ride some roller coasters, experience their Halloween set up, and of course, do the roller coaster photo set below:
Since it has been rainy and off and on cold/warm these last few weeks - I am talking no jacket warm and snow cold, we're probably shooting inside. She told me she painted her toes an alternating blue and purple, which I said sounds good to me.
It looks like we're going to do something with baby oil as she has never done one of those before. I get a ton of requests for that and I try to get all of my regular models to do some of the more basic requests. And then the second set is probably going to be a size teasing set. Heehee... Yes, another one. She's one of the girls who has really been after me to do one too. She's quite the tease, but oh so sweet. I've always liked Charlee for that.
Depending on time, we might shoot a third set. I told her I'll probably wait for another day to shoot some more stuff though as I owe her a ton of massage time. Months ago she hung out with me and we watched Zombieland over some pizza and a nice long foot massage. She told me it felt amazing and she'd have to make appointments to do this more often. Well, Kings Dominion provided us with that for about an hour last year as it rained. I gave her one at a picnic area under a covered table. But it's been way too long and she agrees. So I think two sets and some foot rub time are on the agenda. Maybe a couple more sets and more massage time another day soon too. LOL
Now back to not having shot much as of late. The last shoot I had was with Kayleigh a week or two before Valentine's Day. Before that, it was my New Year shoot with Jordana and my Christmas shoot with Mindee and Marcy.
Over the spring and summer months I usually pile it on with photos. I love shooting outside and I will often take way too many pictures for me to possibly even be able to use. It works out for me in a couple of ways. If I were unable to take photos for whatever reason, be it getting hurt, sick, my camera breaking, not being able to match schedules, then I have a lot of photos to use for a good amount of time. So it is something I've done over the last few years.
Anyhow, in doing this, I get in so many photos in the warm months, the cold months I end up using those photos and not really shooting much of anything. Unless there is a new model, a holiday, or something I really want, I take it slow and use the built up photo bank.
