Interesting article. I wish I could see the feet of the woman on the page. I'm still convinced I was born with my foot fetish. The theories sound interesting. I've never heard the seeing a naked woman and then looking down theory, but the infant crawling I have heard.

I tend to find these articles amusing.. You have these so called experts trying to explain what a foot fetish is and how people get them. And the language is as confusing as listening to a Politician explaining the national deficit.
I am 100% convinced I was born this way. It's in my DNA, bottom line! NO, I didn't crawl around shoes. NO, I wasn't shamed into it. And NO it wasn't due to any of the other ridiculous theories. Some people out there can say when or at what point in there life and even what sparked them to like feet. Not me... There was no specific time. Because it's been forever. I believe everyone is born wired a certain way. And I was born attracted to feet with a side of tickling.

I was in line with the religious zealots who got to choose their sexuality and I thought feet would be a nice way to switch it up.

It is not that complex. It is like everything else. It is a combination of your DNA + SOCIOLOGY, things that you experienced and were exposed to. Just like TWINS who are separated at birth, grow up in different states with different parents, and culture, religion, yet, they have similar talents, likes, interests and biases. It is in our genetic code, just like all the other factors about us, and then we add on to it, by what we are exposed to, what we perceive, etc. We gravitate toward certain things. We are an evolving species like all other living things. FOOT FETISHISM is not weird, strange, or anything like that, it is just another thing to like.......we allow other people to put a stigma on it, or society to label it, but why? You are what you are, be who you are, and care less about what other people think, how other people want to define, label, and or explain you, and care more about being the real and beautiful you!

I think I fall in the category of it being a problem, simply bc it's hard for me to get fully aroused without foot play or looking at the foot. But isn't that what a foot fetish is? I'm able to work, and live a normal life without devoting all of my time to getting myself off to feet somehow or another.

Did not agree with the theory that looking down at a woman's feet because they're naked is cause for a fetish. But I mostly do agree with this article. On my part, i am convinced that i was born with it. My curiosity for female feet was part of growing up in those early years when I was discovering and learning about the opposite sex. It didn't happen when i was 17 or 25 because i was at the beach or some lady took her shoes off and I then became aroused and didn't know why. Didn't happen because some relative or my mother would ask for a foot rub. Heard that before but thankfully not my case. It all comes from just loving women and all their physical features and for reasons that i will never know, their feet are what gets most of my attention.

I can vividly remember back to around 3 years old. There is no doubt, I was born like this. I remember looking at any ladies feet and wanting to see there toes. And I knew nothing about sex or breast. I can also remember that my mothers feet were ugly...She died when I was 6...I also never liked dudes feet out or around me still don't. As my dad started dating, I would always see if the ladies had cute feet.
When I was a child, I would climb under the table and tickle their feet. I haven't even thought about tickling since about 7 or 8 years of age. I think I liked seeing the toes move around. There was nothing sexual about it. I wasn't sexually aroused or even aware of what a stiff penis was other than stopping me from peeing in the morning...
As I got older I would always make sure that the girls I dated had cute feet. I was having sex but not with any type of foot activity. Being that I am a toes guy, I really just wanted to look at them while I was doing standing doggie with my girl. In my early 20's I started touching the and having girls wiggle and spread there toes when I gasm...

Sorry for the long post but, I guess I'm saying nothing that they are talking about in the article strikes me as "ah ha, that's it!" My fetish started with pedal pushing and tickling and neither of these interest me at all at this point...Didn't have a clue about smelling feet, sucking toes, worship, light trampling, foot jobs, or any of the things I do now...BUT I LOVED FEET...I appreciate them and find new thing all the time...Life is good...But they got it wrong WITH ME...

I wonder how old other people were when they realised they had a foot fetish? By the age of 13 I already knew what a foot fetish was, and that I definitely had one. I can't really remember a time when I didn't like girls bare feet, which is why I think I was born with the fetish.
