I'm sorry if I seem pretentious or snobbish. I am just an aficionado with no extra time or social skills to get a website going to show what I perceive "beauty" to be.
I wasn't complaining about free pics, never do. I'm just trying to help the girls do better for what the discerning eye wants to see.
Again, if I seem snobbish about this, it is just me. I'm like a fine restaurant critic when it comes to this. I do the same thing when fine dining as well. I am very into women's thongs; a true connoisseur. I'm born and raised, and still live in SoCal. Got to go to a good high school in a rich neighborhood. It really got me good. Hanging out at the beach all the time, hotties everywhere... Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla.... Damn. How can you not have a foot fetish living here?
I'm in the land of Roxy and Reef and Rainbows, although I will be the first to admit that it took me a while to get into looking at chicks wearing rainbows. The thick strap ones are still kind of a mood killer. They are too much like the ones I wear. And yes, fucking Rainbow thongs rock! I roll in them all the time when not at work in an industrial environment, otherwise I would only wear shoes for jogging.
Anyways, back to women's feet: I can't understand why so many here in SoCal still wear the Old Navy ones all the time when there are stores all over the place selling much cuter thongs.
It always gets to me when someone tries to pull it off, but they do such a bad job that it is not even worth the effort.
If anything, I'm trying to get foot models to understand that we want to see them wearing the same flip flops and thongs that we see the hotties running around in around town. That way I don't get into trouble trying to take some pics to enjoy later, either by the wife or the authorities.
Like fine wines or Scotches, everyone has their own distinct tastes, mine are just refined when it comes to my niche. And yes, I'm hardcore. I found my wife some of those Bass thongs in Wedges! Will get pics when I get done repainting/ remodeling condo. Found them on Amazon for all you other aficionados. Make sure to order at least one size bigger, had to order two sizes bigger to accommodate for long toes. Yeah baby! Come one, come all over them toes!!!

Infact I was brought up in an upper-middle class household with some very rich/powerful/highup family members. But I can't stand posh footwear. At all.

I suppose it's just me, but shoes like this remind me of the post-menopausal rich ladies who spend the day shopping in Old Town Scottsdale. You know, cute little shops, grilled chicken salad for lunch, maybe a cosmo at 4 or so. Because the landscapers come to the gated community today, and who wants to listen to the leaf blower when we can go buy some Gilbert Ortega turquoise jewelry and a pounded tin howling coyote with a bandana? Oh, darling, it's so cute!
Sorry, not goin' anywhere with this, other than to say you might have more luck with requests if they are framed as actual requests and not criticisms. Asking and suggesting seem to really work on these boards.

You certainly have a refined palette- which of course influences what you term as beauty. I live in Florida so I also see feet year round- the vast majority in inexpensive flip- flops. Though I agree it does add a tinge to the beauty quotient, to me nicer footwear seems to look classier more than more beautiful. A beautiful foot is a beautiful foot. Its just what "packaging" its in. Another big plus for cheaper footwear is that girls wear them almost all the time (unless they're dressing up- which then makes it all the more special) which results in amazing toe prints on them. Btw- I'm totally there with you on the thin straps. The thinner and less straps there are the better.

Oh, and for the record...I'm not that big a fan of flip-flops. So once they come off, so much the better.

Actually I prefer bluefly.com for my shoe shopping, but thanks for the feedback on a photo set which has the title "Melanies New Pedicure" posted last year, which I had asked to be filmed right after the trip to my NYC mani/pedi place in which they furnished me with the flipflops. I'm sure you're enough of a shoe snob to write another thread about my nine west pumps as well :-).
Oh and last time I checked half of the women buying designer shoes in SoCal did it from consignment shops or salvation army due to the high pressure of "appearing affluent" vs. actually being affluent in LA and SoCal.
I just finished head-shots for a girlfriend of mine that lives in LA, she confirmed the statement above.
But if you could, please clarify what is it that I tried to "pull off" last year that was "not even worth the effort" then I'll certainly be delighted to hear it.

Ahh yes, no problemo, I'll just take a jet to Washington from NYC to do just that. Unfortunately it wont be those exact flip flops, it will be one of them brand names etc as the O.P. mentioned, and you will have to be "out of line" like O.P. mentioned :-).
