Wow, what a week! I had the entire week off for vacation with no plans for anything other than a few day trips. So why not make plans to do some sets, I figured. Well, do sets is just what I did. I just got back from shooting my 16th and 17th set in the last week and man will Soles of Silk be having some good content in the months to come. I'm so excited about what I took, so much of it I want to pose ASAP.
This is how the week went:
Monday: 2 sets with Mindee Tuesday: 2 sets with Ryan Friday: 6 sets with Mileena Sunday: 2 sets with Kellie Monday (morning): 3 sets with Nikki Monday (afternoon): 2 sets with Olivia
Not only did I shoot all these photos, but I got some of the most unique locations in the process. Hell, Mileena's all day shoot was hopping from place to place in Western Maryland (mountains & country) and into a park called Blackwater Falls, in West Virginia, where we did sets in front of two different waterfalls.
Well, I'll be sure to post some of these photo samples in the forums over the course of the week. For all the Soles of Silk members, you'll be able to see a sample from all 17 sets in a 6 part column I am adding to the site with the update (coming tomorrow night).

You were there 4th of July week! Whish I would have known, I would have bought you all some beers. There is a great little microbrewery right at the turn to Blackwater Falls--if you like good beer. Another micro a couple of miles down the road. I was up in Canaan Valley all week, a couple of miles down the road.
If you ever get back there, I can tell you about a spot you should shoot. There is a trail along the gorge with several gigantic rock ledges (very wide) that you can sit out on, where the view is amazing! Would make some great shots.
I know, the falls are pretty great, too. Flow was probably a bit low, though, since it's been so dry.

Wow, this is the second time I mentioned being somewhere out of state and was within a few miles, or in the other case, few hundred feet, from a forum member.
We were at Blackwater from a little after 4 p.m. until a little after 7 p.m. We town hoped through Western Maryland to break up the ride from the Baltimore region. The falls were our prized location, but we were a little let down because it was hard to get the falls in a good view through the boardwalk fences they currently have. Luckily though, we went to the Elakala Falls right by the lodge and were down on the rocks at the base of the falls. It actually turned out good that the water levels were low too because I've seen photos where none of those rocks would have been above the water. We literally got right under the falling water.

nice job Patrick. you are definitely living the life.
Excited beyond belief. It was just awesome getting out and shooting all week and not having to worry about being at my every day job. It felt awesome to focus on the girls and the site and in all but one case, get in shots of girls who had zero sets left in my "to be posted" photo bank.
