National Fashionistas Presents: The Finals Classic.

And so it begins. The journey, the destination, the dream. These two women have lived their lives for this one moment: a chance to march into the pantheon of greatness where a legacy of champions await.

Throughout the years the Finals Classic has been the culmination of an anthology that has highlighted starlets of the past, featured famous women of the present, and the hype of what's to come in the future. The Finals Classic is the inspiration that brings these aspects together for a chance to live out the moments that define everything they're worth.

This event helps restore the image, the man, the legacy of legendary shoemaker Salvatore Ferragamo. Designing custom-made shoes for female iconic figures during the Golden Era of Hollywood, he has made himself to be synonymous with unique shoes and Hollywood's most sought after starlets.

The National Fashionistas restores the heritage, the meanining, the genius and the ideas that has made him our source of gratitude and great appreciation.

In his honor, two women will vie for the only pair of shoes of its kind. When they met in the last Finals, it was centered around the story of being the pristine encounter between the two Official Symbols of each class. This time, the same two women are here to close out the totality of our first five seasons together.

The Center of the AFC vs. The Center of the NFC. The winner closes out the season by slipping her feet into the Salvatore Ferragamos. In doing so, she has moved his legacy onward forever.

The most coveted shoes in Foot Fetish Hollywood is at stake. The Salvatore Ferragamo will be worn by only ONE woman in the entire planet while the other will only jealously imagine of what it would've been like to have own a pair as hers only.

The Finals Classic is no place for the timid. Here, victory is not granted; it must be taken. The time to seize victory is at hand.

SPECIAL THANKS
Once again, Nusuth's site is http://www.celebrityfeet4.us/. It has been a great year for the fashionistas for the fans and the women who were in this contest alike. While this contest will be taking the rest of the year off, Nusuth's site will be be active for all your celebrity foot needs, all year 'round. Check it out. Enough praise has been paid to me by many people in here for their support of this contest. Nusuth's work is a hobby that makes it all of its worth when enough people give their support, their credit and thanks to what he has been able to compile over the years, even longer than the existence of the National Fashionistas.

To make this the experience that this year's Finals Classic is also the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, here is the fashion show that took place back in 2009. The reason I picked that year was because that was the only time in which both Candice Swanepoel and Marisa Miller participated in the same show. You'll also find appearances from other models who either are or were a part of this contest at some point in time. They are ...

- Alessandra Ambrosio
- Ana Beatriz Barros
- Miranda Kerr
- Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

and also ...

- Heidi Klum, who will take part in next year's contest.

Here is the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in its entirety without any commercial interruptions.

You, sir, have saved your finest work for our last match of the year. Weeks ago, someone said that you mastered the art of celebrity feet by way of running this contest. Your organization skills are detailed oriented and no one who decides to run a celebrity foot contest in this forum can ever match your vision and ideas of what it takes to pull this baby off.

Both women are here. I voted for Candice Swanepoel because her feet in these pictures are very sexy and I would be a fool to pass up on those. Just like you said in that video description earlier, with Candice, I do get the sense that I'm in heaven when I watch her. Marisa is damn as hell sexy, but that feeling of arriving at the Pearly Gates doesn't resonate with me. She's just pure hotness.

Seeing that video of the shoe Candice wore in that GQ photoshoot was an amazing effect. It's a crazy style of shoe that Candice can rock right. She has an amazing body as well.

And please don't get me started on her videos, especially her last two ones because if I do, this post will be so long.

I predict another world championship for Candice Swanepoel. Anyone who has went through war with Kate Upton and then come back to look like this on short rest is a fucking champion in my book.

I can see why National chose her as the official symbol of the NFC. Boy, has that choice paid off.

If you're reading this, National, thanks a million!

I can't believe we're finally here. Another excellent year is going to come to an end. I, too, voted for Candice Swanepoel. In her second set of pictures, that is perhaps the best I've ever seen her. In her first set, her feet look incredible and I bet they do smell like the flowers she's holding. It's so nice to see all of her friends in those pictures because no matter where your eyes look, there's no place for you to be disappointed. Although I will have to say that Marisa's shoe department pictures is everything that a shoe department pictures set is supposed to be. She looks great, the shoes are killer sexy and you can't help but imagine what it would be like to massage those feet after you remove her shoes from her feet.

Even though Candice is up by some votes now, we'll be foolish to count Miller out. And that's because she's Marisa Miller.

I have to give my thanks to National for taking his time and tremendous effort to put on this great show that he has this season for the last few months. And what we have here is all of his excellent work all rolled up into one small package where the winner will be the best of them all.

The greatest match of the year is happening before our eyes and I'm going to soak everything in for what it's worth.

And I know Nusuth will be lurking in here to see what people have to say about his favorite girl, Candice Swanepoel. [Big Grin] [Tongue]

I think he will give her a break for this one time and help her win this thing. If not, then I wouldn't have any problems with Marisa being champion. She's been that dominant for all this time, we might as well.

But the most important piece that makes this finals what it is is the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. We can get the complete story here. And, really, thanks for giving us the time table on which each segment starts so that the viewers doesn't have to sit through the entire thing. He can just pick and decide which segments to watch and he know at which point in the clip they start and end.

And I would like to thanks Nusuth as well. I know that when your favorite girl is out of the tournament, you kinda lose interest and you don't really care what happens from that point on. But I would love to hear your thoughts on this as we are on our way to finish another season.

I didn't have to look at the pictures to know that I needed to vote for Swanepoel over Miller. Last week, I really thought Upton would beat Swanepoel. Too bad she went out at the time she did because I saw some pictures Nusuth posted of Upton in his site, and those pictures might've come in handy had she made this far.

None of this is to say that I don't like Swanepoel or her feet because I think last week was the only time I voted against her this year. That match was a true classic that I will never ever forget. Double overtime from those two was a battle of endurance and Candice proved herself to be worthy and ready to successfully defend her title.

With the way my votes have been going this year, I'm afraid Marisa is going to find a way to win this. I think they'll vote for her out of sympathy because she was in the finals last year and lost to the same chick she's facing now.

After I placed my vote, then I saw the pictures and videos. Candice exceeded my expectations. Her toes and toenails in those pictures are just too "mmmmmmm". [Drool]

In her second set, that's how a complete sex goddess should look like. If there was ever a definition of what a goddess is supposed to look like, Candice serves that purpose.

National, you have found a goldmine with these pictures from her. In her first youtube link, I bet she was doing all of the things you saw in that video in the privacy of her home to prepare herself for this match.

I'm going to watch some of the Victoria Secret show when I have more time on my hands. Those pics and videos were the full course meals. The fashion show will be my desert after I relax a bit from dinner. [Cool]

Yup. This contest does have that strong effect on you. I felt that way after seeing Carmen Electra suffer the way she did all year long. When your favorite girl is doing so well, you're on top of the world. But when she suffers, it wears off on you.

But I had to be here this week to say my final thanks to National for the year. I had to see who was in the finals and I want to see who ends up winning the whole thing.

Looks like I'm going to be the first one to come in here and say that I voted for Marisa Miller. I think her feet are better than Candice's and I do think that the majority of voters will help Marisa win her first title, something that could've been hers a long time ago. I don't think she's going to let THIS one get away from her.

I've been watching some of the fashion show already and it is not until you see it when you realize the full effect that this adds to the finals. It really brings the season full circle and it is incredible watching these women do their thing. What's also fun to watch are the other women who've been in this contest, particularly Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. If my count is correct, by looking at the list of women who appeared in each segment, it looks like Rosie did more work than Marisa Miller did. It's a nice reminder that Rosie was a part of all of this this year and she looks INCREDIBLE. For Marisa's sake, it was good that Rosie didn't go on stage directly after Miller, otherwise she would've attacked her from behind!

Celebrity entertainment at its finest, all courtesy of National's dedication to making this the only content of its kind that matters in this whole forum.

Was it just me or was Candice up by about 10 votes before Marisa finally caught up to her? But I had to remind myself of something I said earlier in that Marisa Miller will make up for the number of votes she was behind. We're virtually half way through and Miller has made things uncomfortable for Swanepoel.

I agree with foot fashion industry that some votes will go towards Miller because in part because they felt guilty for not voting for her last year. Perhaps they want to see a new champion. But I have to think that Candice is favored because she's the defending champion and because look what she had to go through and WHO she had to go through to even get to the finals. I think Candice has weathered a tougher storm last round.

But anyone can cut the argument the other way, like Duffy did last week, in that if Marisa has been THIS dominant for THAT long, and the people like her enough to put her in the finals for the second year in a row, then they might as well give it to her.

You know, I have yet to see that fashion show now that I've seen the pictures from those two walking down that aisle. Candice IS an angel. Hot, hot, hot!

Here's something I posted back in the first round of the playoffs.

Achieving all of those would be nice and would look very good on their résumés. The thing is, those records will be broken. But when a woman slips on a pair of the Salvatore Ferragamos, that becomes permanent.

Here's another pretend commercial, this time from Marisa Miller, highlighting how important this is.

"The Finals Classic is where champions are born. This is a time where the Fashionistas write their history. Wearing the Ferragamos tells the world how good they really are. But when I look around here, I don't see myself as someone who has nothing to say. I see myself as someone who's ready to make a statement."

These Candice videos are amazing. Simply amazing to watch. I had to turn on the AC in my room because I was going to faint from heat exhaustion after watching those vids. In her second video, where it starts off with the ballerina act, I like the part at around 1:15 where it shows Candice taking a deep breath right before she goes out. So even as calm, cool and collected as Candice usually is, I liked seeing that part of Candice that tells us that she does get a little unsettled before a big event and that she needs to take a deep breath to calm her nerves. I bet she had to do that before taking the stage in this Finals Classic. Overall, that video is amazing and well edited.

In her last video, [Thud] . Either she's flirting with me or I just died and went to heaven? National, she's flirting with me WHILE I'm in heaven. I never knew that video ever existed. And you saved it for all of us to see when the moment was perfect. And that moment is now in the finals. The music in that video made you feel as if you're in heaven as well.

National, you are the MAN! Other people have pointed it out, but it's worth saying again that you know your celebs better than anyone I know, whether it be in this forum or when I'm talking with other people in everyday life. You are detailed oriented with your organization skills, as someone pointed out earlier. You have made this contest into something that puts us in a discussion and a debate over the women involved. No where else in this forum is the conversation this lively and interesting at the same time. I don't bother wasting my time elsewhere in this forum to talk about celeb feet because the quality and the quantity of pictures are not there for us to want to engage in a lively discussion.

I have no idea how you put all of this together and present it to all of us the way you do.

I love how you have the names of all the models listed who appeared on that fashion show. When I saw the list of the women who appeared in the order that you had listed, I HAD to put it to the test to see if you slipped up somewhere. [Big Grin] Now, I don't know the names of all of the models, but the ones I do know appeared in the order that you said they did. And it really helped that you timed all of the segments, like 18th Floor said. I saw the fourth segment because of the big names that started it off. I smiled when I saw Klum, because we all know she will be in this contest next year. A little preview of what's to come from her. I was also happy to see Rosie go out after her. Imagine what it would be like if those two face each other in the future.

I'll come back later to talk about my pick for the finals, Candice Swanepoel.

SALVATORE FERRAGAMO

Salvatore Ferragamo was born near Naples, Italy in 1898. One of 14 children born to parents who were poor farmers, he made his first pair of shoes when he was nine years old for his sisters to have something nice to wear to their first communion. He had found his calling.

Ferragamo studied shoemaking and by the time he was 14, had opened his own shoe shop with eventually six employees working for him. In 1914, Ferragamo moved to America. His brother helped him get a job in a shoe factory in Boston, but he was disillusioned by assembly line shoemaking. He firmly believed shoes should be handmade. He moved to Hollywood and opened an atelier to create custom shoes from his original designs.

It was not long before Salvatore Ferragamo was discovered by Hollywood starlets. He made shoes for Sophia Loren, Greta Garbo, Betty Davis, Ingrid Bergman, Ava Gardner, Rita Hayworth, Marlene Dietrich, Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe. Ferragamo became famous as the "shoemaker to the stars" and designed the famous ruby red shoes worn by Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.

He was dissatisfied with the comfort of shoes and so studied human anatomy at the University of Southern California to learn about the weight distribution on the bones of the foot. In the artist's own words, "I discovered that the weight of the body when we are standing erect drops straight down on the arch of the foot. I constructed my revolutionary lasts [the solid form around which a shoe is molded], which supporting the arch, make the foot act like an inverted pendulum." This may have been his greatest contribution to footwear: the secret of how to make a beautiful shoe with a comfortable fit; the perfect combination of form and function.

In 1927, Ferragamo moved back to Italy, where he founded his eponymous shoe company in Florence. By the 1950s Salvatore Ferragamo had 700 employees who produced one shoe each per day, entirely by hand. He invented the invisible sandal in 1947 and the stiletto heel in 1955, both classics in women's footwear; but his most famous invention is perhaps the "Cage Heel".

Before he died in 1960, Salvatore Ferragamo was the most influential shoemaker in human history. He said he was inspired by architecture and art. Ferragamo was a visionary artist who created over 20,000 models of shoes and held 350 patents. In the words of the artist, "Normally I do not institute new fashions. There are a number of dress and shoe designers who struggle to be different for the sake of being different, meaning that they want to impose a startling new fashion line upon the woman. But if designers must wait for their customers to become conscious of new styles who, then, determines fashion? The answer is: new fashion begins in the mind of the designer. He must not stifle all his ideas merely because the world is not yet ready for them. I have no reason."

Here's a look at Ferregamo's Museum.

You know, these pictures have gotten me to pleasure myself one too many times throughout the course of the week. And I've done them only to the Candice pictures because they are out of this world. I love how in when you click on Candice's links to her pictures, I love how National has it layed out in where some pictures are bigger than others. In her first set, I love how a couple of the bigger pictures previewed are closeups of her feet. Can I tell you something? I see nothing wrong with her feet. Perfect from sea to shining sea. Her toenails are perfect. That's something you don't hear someone say quite often when describing a famous woman's feet. But you see it with Candice. Her face is sweet, too.

In her second set, Candice looks and dressed as if this was going to be the final match of her life and she wanted to leave us with a great bang to remember her by. The black dress and shoes does wonders for her. When you have the Barbie doll aspiring to be like Candice and to look like Candice, you have a woman who's flawless. If Candice can beat perfection like she did last week, then Candice should be able to withstand Marisa. And that says A LOT considering that Marisa almost never loses a match herself.

With less than 24 hours to go, I am excited to see how this season will all end.

Thanks, National, for the best celeb feet outlet out there. Your work is second to none.

Hours ago, we had out make believe commercial that featured Marisa Miller. Now it's Candice's turn on her take of what the Finals mean to her.

"We've had four different women crowned as champions and had the honors of modeling their feet in the Salvatore Ferragamos. Megan Fox has done it. I even had the luxury of putting them on. But I'm not here to talk about history. Instead, I'm here to make it."

The Finals Classic.
