I sometimes use the Search Bar and it comes up with "No results" knowing that particular person has been posted here.Anyone else have the same problem?

I noticed it the other day too. I tried to search for older posts I've done and they didn't show. I don't know if something was purged or changed as that isn't something the mods control. That's all Wu.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems. I can confirm the search problem. Seems the function goes back so far. Older threads don't come up in a search.

I've had this problem for years. The search bar is only for recent posts. I can still view topics that started in 2006, but very few for the years earlier. You just need the URL.
I've been playing with URL's here and it seems topics 5,000 and earlier are scarce to find. Most of those threads don't exist anymore. It is interesting though to read some of the posts from the older days.

I'd say it would be very difficult to remember every URL to threads we'd like to revisit this is why forums like Wu's or TheMousepad need a "My Favourites" feature.I have come across loads of favourite foot content at Wu's and TheMousepad and sometimes would like to revisit but either nothing comes up in Search or i can't remember the title of the thread or URL. There is a Story i liked from the Stories section at TheMousepad which i woud love to read again but lost track of it,can't remember the title or URL.I even type in some of the words that may have been in the story but still no luck.
Weird that when using the Search bar you get no results but when typing in the name of the thread in Google search the thread appears which means it's still in existance.So why doesn't it show in Search?

If you're using a Windows computer, hold Ctrl and press D. That should bookmark/favorite the webpage you're on.

Oh thanks so does that save it under "Bookmarks"
Although that's a great idea i don't really like to save porn under "Bookmarks" in case someone needs or wants to use the computer while in my User account.They probably won't bother to snoop through my Bookmarks but it's not worth the risk.

If you have Microsoft Word on your computer, you can copy the URL for each page you want to remember, then paste it in a Word document. Then save the Word document with a password.
