Have you ever taken advantage of a, 'no shoes inside the house' rule?
At my girlfriends place, there is a, 'no shoes inside the bathroom rule.' This weekend, one of her friends came over; I bet you know where this is going. It dawned on me that I could sneak a whiff of her friend's shoes if she went to the bathroom.
I didn't know if my girlfriend's friend knew about the no shoes in bathroom rule. She doesn't come over too often. In order to drive the point home, I found the occasion to go to the bathroom and complain about the fact that I have to remove my shoes. Her friend chimed in and it was clear that she wasn't aware of the rule. My girlfriend's response, to her, was that she didn't have to remove her shoes if she didn't want to (she was giving her a pass). Her friend volleyed back, that she didn't mind removing her shoes. So far so good. Next, I had to work on her bladder.
The go-to move was to give my girlfriend a hard time because she didn't offer her friend some water. The devious thing is that I know her friend isn't big on water. When we dine out she never touches the water, she always has a soda drink. I was saving the soda for round two. Later on I conveniently had a desire to drink soda, so I served us all some. The clock was ticking and this gal wasn't budging. But good thing cocktail hour was approaching.
I began to brag about how good I am at fixing a cocktail. So I fixed us all a drink. This must have did it because shortly after, my girlfriend's friend announced she had to go to the bathroom. The moment of risk for reward was fast approaching. Mind you, there were more people besides the ones I have mentioned, home. Also, my girlfriend knows I like feet and their smell and not only would she not put it past me, she knows how to add; nay, she is good at math. But I took a chance, after all, Columbus did. Plus my girlfriend was in the middle of cooking dinner so she was super distracted. This was the perfect opportunity. Hence, for the next play, I called an all in blitz on her shoes. They were white Converse by the way.
In the end it was all for nothing. I dipped down on to one knee just before the closed bathroom door. I picked up one of the shoes and met the opening of it halfway against my inhaling nose. I couldn't believe my nostrils! There was no discernable scent. I picked up the other shoe and I found the same thing or lack thereof. I returned to the living room with a feather in my cap and new notch on my belt but zero satisfaction. Damn socks! She must have been wearing tiny socks that I didn't detect. All in all it was a hollow victory. Her shoes didn't smell.
'No shoes in the house,' seems a little drastic for me, since I am not used to it. But a no shoes in the bathroom rule, isn't that far off. After all, my girlfriend is Asian so it wouldn't be hard to explain.

I always have friends coming over my house and hanging out in my room, so i always tell them to take their shoes off, outside of my bedroom door before they come into my room. One time about 2 summers ago i was hanging out with a girl who had AMAZING feet. She was wearing sandals and we decided to go hangout in my room since it was really hot that day and I had AC installed. So we get to my house and go to my room and she takes off her sandals at my bedroom door and comes into my room. We're sitting down playing video games for a few minutes and I got up and told her I was going to use the bathroom downstairs and that I'd be right back. So i leave the room then shut the door behind me and I see her sandals on the ground and since the door is shut behind me she can't see me so i grabbed her sandals and went downstairs with them and licked them.

They have towels laid down that cover the tile floor. It is very convenient for when you are stepping out of a shower. They don't want dirty shoes stepping on their towels.

Ah I see. I'm thinking most people that follow the no shoes in the house are for sanitation and cleanliness, and some guests get put off by walking barefoot on someone else's bathroom floor bc it's the bathroom. I've used this before though and it's backfired on me. I had a coworker over once who was in flats. I'm a sucker for flats. Anyway, she took them off and I was in heaven. Well not long after that she came over with a couple of other coworkers and one was male. When they arrived she took her shoes off at the door and announced that I have a no shoes rule in the house.
Growing up I had a friend with a milf of a mom who enforced no shoes in the house, and he has a few attractive sisters. They always went barefoot in the house. Great times!
Stories like this makes me wonder if we're really sick. It's been discovered that shoes pick up all kinds of bacteria including e-coli and another strain that can't be killed with antibiotics, yet a number of us pick up and smell and lick shoes.
