Imagine whatever scenario you want to provoke this to happen, but whatever you imagine, it involves you being seperated from society and given the choice to take only ONE game system with you.

That of course means all the games that go with that system, so you wouldn't be hurting for games, but which system would it be?

Me personally, I'd pick the Neo Geo. Sure, my all-time favorite game is on the Turbo Duo (Lords of Thunder), but the Neo Geo has all the KOF's and Metal Slug's, not to mention Magical Drop II & III, all the Samurai Shodown's, the Fatal Fury's, and whole bunch of other titles that have replay out the nose! I'd miss my other systems, but if I got to take one with me, it'd be the Neo Geo.

What about you other gamers? [Smile]

Hands down, Super NES. Chrono Trigger, FF6, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Earthbound, Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG, Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda:LttP, Street Figher II, Mortal Kombat series, Killer Instinct,Super Punchout...list goes on.

My personal favorite was the Genesis. The one system that has great 16-Bit games like the Sonic series, Streets of Rage, Joe Montana's Football, John Madden Football, Mortal Kombat, etc.

Interesting picks so far...even more interesting is that the choices have been 2D sprite based systems. Makes me wonder if the industry really made the wise move in going 3D with everything... [Smile]
