Yea, so after about a month of computer trouble. I finally gave in and reformatted my hard drive. I was able to save most of my important stuff, so thats cool. Well, Just thought I would let you know whats been up.

Ugh! Reformatting is always a bitch when it has to be used as a last resort. I had to use it on one of my footgal friends' computers a few months ago because she's using an old Win98 OS and just got to a point where not much at all was working anymore. I diagnosed the situation and then called in the dreaded reformat, and thankfully everything's back on track with her now. Even if you have everything backed up, the real pisser of reformatting is having to start with a clean slate and then begin to put everything back again until it resembles the system as it was before. It's kinda like moving and then having to transfer all your shit from the old house to the new one, and in many cases, having to go out and buy plenty of new shit. Ah well, good to have ya back, buddy!

I was gone after a 2 week hiatus myself. A trojan virus sneaked into my system past Norton and dismantled it! From there it turned my computer into a zombie sending out about 1000 e-mails before I caught it an unplugged it from the internet. Besides that my harddrive conked out and my vid cards fan stopped working. I lost everything on my system once again in less than one years time. The new hard drive, virus removal, vid card, and the attempt to retrieve info off the dead HD cost me almost $400. I was wanting to spend that money on a new system, but the old lady nixed that idea!
