I've studied shotokan and judo when I was young and achieved a black belt in the former. I began studing Kepmo and Aikido in college. Lately I've been studing Jujitsu and Tai Chi. I've been progressing toward more graceful styles lately.

Same here, also Shotokan...but stopped a few years ago.
If I were young again I wouldn`t start Karate again...IŽd go for Aikido or Hapkido. My daughter does the later and my girlfriend does Kung-Fu. I like how they learn how to jump/fall/roll. That`s something I always missed in Karate. On the other hand, if you have a good sensei (trainer) Karate will really help you build up your strength.

wow thats pretty hot... ive always ben curious about aikido and kung fu and kenpo too for that matter... but umm heres my story... used to take tang soo do but it was very limiting and the way it was taught was not very effective. plus, they wouldnt let you hit your opponent Self control blah blah... bad!!, i took tae kwon do, and for me that was better because it at least let me get used to being hit...but stil it was just point sparring and i wasnt all the way into it and eventually lost interest... then years later the stigma of paranoia of me getting my ass kicked started to creep up on me i went to look for something that i felt worked... and soooo, a yr or so ago i found a school that teaches keet kune do(way of the intercepting fist) systems and integrated grappling systems... my teacher is awesome he has like 35 hrs under his belt of many different styles ... the hardest thing though is staying consistent although i try to practice the mooves i learnt cuz my memory sucks when it comes to that..i have a looong way to go still. i wanna learn some hard core shit like kun tao that is also taught at my school i figure the more the better ya know., but im not the violent type at all, but i just like the added assurance.

I was pretty good at Aikido for many years.
Still am, i guess. But long out of practice.
Some Wonderful FemDom Experiences teaching that in "Private Lessons" too! (and a few bad ones... but they are not as important as the Wonderful Ones!!)

Well... I practice Taido (bet you have never heard about it). It's a style from japan, which is developed from Gensei-Ryu Karate and uses a 3D-thinking (you avoid and jump over/duck under your opponents attacks).
