Finally, as reported by the USA Today, G-Mail will no longer require you to be invited in order to obtain the free e-mail service. I'm sure there was reason, but the thought of having to be referred by someone for Google's e-mail sounded absurd to me, it's like 'mention this ad and you'll save an x-amount of money on your next car wash' or something like that. Anyhow, I praise their decision to be open to anyone.
