Has anyone seen anyone wearing these before? The first time I saw one was a couple of years ago when two women that actually worked for me had them on their fingers. I saw the ring which had "purity" inscribed on it and asked her what the significance of it was for. She told me that she was staying a virgin until she was married and that she had made a vow to wear the ring when she was a teenager. I was intrigued as this lady was 26 years old, had no boyfriend, and is nuttier than a fruitcake. The way I looked at it would be a ring like that would be like kryptonite for any guys that would possibly want to ask her out. She wasn't bad looking at all, just a little way too much religious indoctrination for her own good.
The ring looked something like this:
Its one thing to abstain from sex for whatever reason because of religious beliefs, not wanting to get knocked up, etc. I just want to know what the need is to create a weird ritual and wear a piece of jewelry to advertise it.
Anyone here actually wearing one of these things? Just curious.

In our old church youth group- they were a big thing.
Sometimes I think it was more wishful thinking on the parents part... lol We volunteered with the youth, and... well... some wore the rings- given to them by their parents... but they were not so pure. lol

Haven't seen that one but I recall the "WWJD" leather bands that were popular...jeez, over a decade ago.
If I see one of these, I'll let you know but I'll probably ask her if a blow-job is out of the question.

I would love to add to this but can't think of a tactful way of expressing it.
Suffice it to say that it is no rumor...well, at least a long time ago when I was trying to lose my virginity. If she kept her "virginity" during a penetrative sexual act, did I keep mine?
I've just speculated too long.
