Bluetoelover, Im not sure she meant her BF spent 40k on Star Wars items, but its prolly worth 40k now. The wifes dad bought a 100$ record player/fireplace 30 years ago, and its worth around 8k now.

Once upon a time I worked at a Toys R Us & used to take bribes from the collectors. I've even watched grown men get into physical altercations over a "Slave Leah" figure lol. You have to see it to believe it. The kids were better behaved than the grown-ups.

You guys should hit MGM while in Orlando just for the ride they have called "Star Tours"! The gift shop has KILLER Star Wars merchandise including numbered light sabers (running about $200 ea.) too! That is where I got my "Jedi Training Academy" license plate for my truck!!

Oh man! I willl totally have to check that out! He will be very excited to here that. He has really been wanting to get Vader's light saber.
He's a sergeant at a prison, so he has the money to put into it.;p Well there are some that are worth more than when he bought them, but we just have a lot of Star Wars stuff. Here's some pictures.

I should have kept my Star Wars figures & the picture book they sold at the theater back in '77. I spent every weekend that summer watching that movie. Also, it was only $3.50 admission.

I have an uncle who has a MASSIVE Pez collection. I'm talking like thousands of Pez, all totalled up I believe its worth somewhere in the neighborhood of almost $30K!! I think its great to have a hobby like that, especially one that can pay big dividends if one decides to sell.
