Anyone played this yet? I keep seeing clips online and on TV and it really seems awesome. Any first hand experience with the gameplay? I'd like to know before I grab it off the shelves.

I'm going through it right now. Seems decent, I bought it used off craigslist for $50.
The constant natation over gameplay gets a little annoying. They are really trying to make the game out to be a short TV mini series, as the begining of each chapter says previously on Alan Wake. Loads of cut scenes, sometimes seems like more than actual gameplay.
The fighting is a lot like bio shock, whereas you have to use the 1 - 2 combo to take enemies down. Blast off the darkness with your flashlight then shootem. They give you lots of supply drops but you can't carry very much.
I'm only ending the second chapter so I'll update more later.
