The one I normally use, SolveigMM Video Splitter, all of a sudden makes the audio late.
There are so many video editors out there that seem to be built for Tarantino wannabes, but I just want something that lets me remove scenes. That's it. SolveigMM Video Splitter let me do it without ease until it started acting stupid. Point here, point there, cut inbetween. Everything else about the file stays the same, only of course the file size subtracted accordingly.
I tried one called Magix Movie Edit Pro, and the learning curve on that is ridiculous. I hunted for tutorials on Youtube, none of them seems to do what I was asking (no one can trim a video without adding bs to it? Titles and transitions and crap? Sheesh).
Can anyone recommend anything simple that wouldn't double as one of the programs George Lucas uses?

I've used WMV to add scenes together, I don't remember it ever having the ability to REMOVE scenes or trim. But since its free I'll take a look at it again.
As for what kind of video file, anything that I buy that may have foot slobbering in it that I can edit out. The problem with WMM is it ONLY lets you edit WMVs and AVI, if its flv, mp4, mov, rm, or even mpg, you're outta luck.
