Dick Clark; former host of "American Bandstand", various incarnations of "Pyramid" during the 70s to 80s, "TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes", and his "New Year's Rockin' Eve" specials; has died overnight from a massive heart attack. He was 82.

Tragic loss. I know many of the greats will soon pass, like Adny Griffith, Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman, etc... but it'll still be a shocker.

Growing up in New Zealand, the only thing I remember him for, was the popular 80s T.V show "TV's Bloopers & Practical Jokes"
