This video more than a year old, but for some reason I just came around to it now.
The 8-minute video shows a man reading a letter from his daughter's "rebellious post" about her parents. After ranting for several minutes, the father showed the girl's laptop on the ground and shot it until his gun ran out of ammo.

Yeah, I saw that back when it went viral a couple years ago. Disagree totally with his actions. I'm a parent with a 16 year old daughter as well, but his actions don't come across as something quite rational. You need to discipline you kids, but recording it to publicly humiliate them will only serve to create greater animosity toward you as well as traumatize them probably irreparably.
Life under him is probably a nightmare for the girl.

I think what he did, shooting up the laptop of a person that disrespected him was pretty cool. Should've used a shot-gun and fire it through a skeet shooter
From a parental POV, since it was his own daughter, I think this isn't the approach to deal with this. I disagree with his actions of posting it publicly to retaliate and/or humiliate her. I think teens have their tiffs a possible hormonal pubesent rebellious phase which I think we've all been through and will somewhat pass. Sounds as if she wrote the letter out of anger and he performed this act outta anger which is a double negative. To me this isn't good.
Thanks for the link to the vid

Here's another video he posted. This one was in the aftermath of the original video that went viral. This one kind of addressed the point many people made about how he shouldn't have humiliated his daughter in public like that.
This is not to convince anyone to change his mind from his original stance. Instead this is just something to show everyone that he was aware about how many people reacted to him shooting holes through his daughter's laptop.
