If I was one of the classmates I would have beat the shit out of that kid. I wonder how much more underage violence is gonna happen before they decide to start charging them as adults? There's no excuse for that!

Agreed. I would have felt better if some of the kids in the class had jumped this prick and put him in the hospital. After six years in law enforcement, I'll attest firsthand that the juvenile justice system is an absolute joke. I will never agree with coddling violent people based on age alone. I'm sorry but if you're at the high school level and can not tell if your actions are hurting someone or not, there is no hope for you. Institutionalizing a lack of punishment for such behavior is despicable and only leads to such behaviors worsening over time. Sorry for the rant, but this kind of crap gets under my skin.

You're absolutely right, I think the age(s) of accountability start MUCH earlier. A soon as you realize something is wrong or right you should get punishment like a big boy.
