I was going through some old files today, and it really hit me that Feet Fair has been around forever, at least in Internet terms. I found some pics of a model named Christianne, and I don't remember much about her except that she's from Massachusetts somewhere, maybe Boston? She was sexy but a bit on the quiet side, and since she had never done any foot fetish modeling before, I spent most of the session bearing down, to make sure she got her cues and poses right.
She was introduced to me by another photographer who had been working with her in Florida, and decided to bring her back to New York to meet me, since he thought her feet were nice enough, although not having a foot fetish himself, he really had no idea.
Christianne's feet were really cute, but what really stood out for me was how tiny they were, she actually wore a size 4! I know it doesn't look like that in these pics, but her feet were astoundingly tiny. At about 5' 4" in height, her feet were not really proportionate to her height.
This is back in 2002, so my memory is a bit sketchy on the details, but this set was done at my buddy Bruno's place, a fantastic Fashion photographer in his own right and he though it was silly that I was running around NYC shooting girls' feet. Bruno's roommate at the time (his name escapes me), was a fairly successful male model, who just lived for attention, so he decided to volunteer himself as my "assistant" for that session, and because I really liked the guy, I decided to indulge him. Needless to say, we had a lot of giggles, because soon enough, pretty boy asked me to take a few snaps of him, assisting me and that's what you see in pic number 2.
This was a more innocent time for me 'cause I didn't really know what I was doing, and hadn't planned to stay in the game this long. I'm pretty sure that I had Christianne on Feet Fair for a while, but I pulled her after a couple of years, and don't ask me why, 'cause I honestly don't remember. The only two guesses I have is that maybe I though the work was not up to my standards, or that she never signed a modeling release, but really, who cares? It's nice to revisit the past every now and then, to see where you've been.
