OK, so I’m sitting at the bar in a Downtown Brooklyn Tex-Mex restaurant, waiting to meet up with Katniss for a quick drink after work. Katniss seems to be running late, and she would eventually call me to apologize as she couldn’t make it. Meanwhile, as I waited for her over a gin and tonic, I catch a glimpse of a very athletic blonde, as she comes into the bar and saddles up right next to me. She’s probably about 5’ 4”, but looks about 5’ 8” in her fashionable heels. I got a quick look at her feet, but I didn’t want to seem too obvious, so I buried my head on my smart phone, and texted some friends. Pretty soon I hear a voice asking me “Is it happy hour yet?” – It’s her and I tell her that I’m not sure since it’s only 4:45 pm, but she then asks the bartender who tells her that yes, it is happy hour. So my new acquaintance orders a margarita, and since I had already opened a tab for myself and Katniss, I tell the bartender to put her drink on my tab, no big whoop.
She seems very thankful and we exchange small talk until Katniss calls to tell me she wouldn’t be able to make it. I explained to my new friend that I just got blown off, and she asks if that was my date for the evening. I tell her that Katniss is just a new friend, and I have absolutely no romantic involvement at all, nor any desire for it. It’s then that she asks what I do, and I tell her about my day job, and how I’m also a photographer. She brightens at my last statement, and tells me that she’s looking for extra money apart from her day job, but doing some acting gigs. Seems she’s a former aspiring actress, and asks if I do head shots. I hand her my professional card, which has nothing to do with feet, and I can see she’s visibly impressed. She then gets a call from her office, and gets up from the bar, presumably for some privacy, and I couldn't help but snap the pic below. I’m not sure if she even noticed, ‘cause she seemed to be in a serious conversation with someone at her office, but after she was done, she came back to the bar, thanked me for the drink, and promised to get in touch.
I can’t help but feeling a sense of irony, since I met Katniss in similar circumstances just a few weeks ago. I’m not saying this new woman is going to end up calling me, but she seemed very open, and if I ever get a good look at her feet, who knows?
I have to confess that all this is really fucking with my head, because as I try to leave the game behind, I start meeting very fine women with nice feet. Anyways, here’s the pic, what do YOU think?

great story. I'd love to know that she has brightly polished, slightly longer red toenails hiding inside those sexy heels...

Cool man...keep us posted if she calls you back.
She sounds like she might be game for photography stuff. Lets hopenshe takes care of her feet and is cool with it!!!

Excellent story. I think it's a sign from the Big Man above. There are still lots of fine women that need to show there feet to the world and that involves you my friend . You just can't fight destiny!!
