There have been days when I've met up with a model to shoot at a place where I figured we'd have plenty of space to go off and shoot without people being close. I've found a few spots where this usually works out, but the day Allie and I met up to shoot at this location was not one of them. People were milling about and there were only a few spots where we could go off and not be bothered.
One of the spots we ended up using was this large grouping of rocks that came out off the shoreline and stuck out into the bay. One problem, it was a bit windy. Still, we tried our luck and managed to get in some good shots. We fought the wind with Allie's hair, which you can see blowing about in some of these photos. We did what we could.
It wasn't like we could stay out on the rocks too long anyhow as a family with some kids came down and wanted to come out on the rocks with us, even though there wasn't that much room. We had grabbed enough photos by then and departed.
