Bought it a few weeks ago and finally put it in my PS3. Downloaded all the extras like the Catwoman DLC and so far it has been quite good. Played for hours and with so many side missions to tend to, I've barely scratched the surface.

Oh my god, it's one of the absolute best games I've ever played and by far the greatest superhero game ever. There wasn't another game coming out this fall that I was more excited about, and this is a fall where I was eagerly anticipating Uncharted 3 and Assassin's Creed Revelations.
I'll say this to everyone, if you like Batman even just a little, you will love Arkham Asylum, and especially Arkham City.

My beautiful wife put a moratorium on me buying any more games until after Christmas, so the new Batman Arkham City, is mos def going on my "Santa list".

Finished the storyline two days ago and have been working on getting all the Riddler trophies. Got enough to finish the Riddler mission, but not all of them yet.
While I really like the game and the story, I'm not big into the fact that I beat this game before I even had all of the upgrades and even some of the weapons. If you focus on the main storyline and don't go off on side missions, you can finish this game quite quickly. I kind of like having a game force me to do missions BEFORE the end, not go back and do them once I took care of the main bad guy(s).
Not bad at all, but I'm hoping Uncharted 3 will be even better. Working on getting that soon.
