So after seeing some reviews on this I decided to throw down some money on a new copy. At first I was really digging just how vast the game is and the amount of things you can do. As time as progressed, however, I'm starting to get annoyed with some things.
As a dagger rogue I can cut through some enemies, but if the son of a bitch has a two handed weapon, I'm done ASAP! I don't like switching out and controlling the caster/ranged players instead either as I'd rather play my created character. When a mob is crunching me, that's what I end up doing, or switch to the overhead move-by-move, character control scheme. Not a big fan of that, but it's gotten me past a few mobs.
It's probably just me sucking, but I just feel more and more squishy as the game has progressed. I keep finding armor and weapons several levels higher than what I can even equip, so perhaps I'm questing over my head? I don't know.
I want to like this game more, so I'll keep at it and see if I'm doing something wrong.
