I played a demo of this game when it was brand new and although it seemed interesting, I just never got it. This week, looking for something to play on my PS4 (since Destiny was highly overrated), I decided to go ahead and pick up both Season 1: Game of the Year Edition and Season 2.
Let me be up front and honest here. The story in this game is amazing. The story is pretty much 80% of this game as it's more of a point and click adventure game with some brief moments of quick time events. Still, it's amazing. This is the first game I've ever played where I really debated about starting all over again and just making different choices immediately after finishing it.
The only game I've played with a storyline as deep and hard hitting as this in recent memory was Last of Us. Not going to lie, I felt all kinds of sad, mad, and elated at different points of this game. A friend told me the final episode will hit hard and he was right on point. I'm sure people have cried because of it.

Not my type of game however enjoying it so far. Picked it up a few days ago just starting episode 4. Can get intense with decisions and it's pretty emotional. Sometimes I wonder if I'm playing the game, or is the game playing me

Ok just finished the game (season 1). Game was pretty good and the decisions make you really feel part of the story. Not in a hurry to play seson 2, probably wait til it hits the bargin bin or prewoned section on the gaming store shelf.

Ok, without spoiling it for someone who might want to go play it now, tell me that ending didn't make you tear up just a little?

Not really as much as the time I did a favor for Kenny. I was emotionally cut and need a moment to process the event before proceeding.

Picked up season 2 a few days ago. Finished episode 1 just into the 2nd. Pretty good so far. I feel more and more part of the adventure as the game progresses from me being a sceptic going into season 1 compared to now. The feelings you feel are real and can be intense, sometimes second guessing yourself thinking "did I make the right decision?".
In a way I feel as if I'm being judged by a 3rd party studying my/our behavior & decisions categorizing my/our character by some sort of psychological profiler ...

I still haven't played Season 2 yet. I want to, but I totally got sucked in on Dragon Age Inquisition and then went back and bought Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, and all the DLC for both. Man, those games took some time, but I loved all of them.
