Eagles. Patriots wont stop the Cowboys from being the most recent team to win 3/4 Superbowls. Manning and Roethlisberger cant elude a good defense like McNabb can. Theyre not consisten, like Mike Vick. I guess it takes a beating of the New England Pats and the awesome Tom Brady to get that through people's heads. McNabb plays differently than Brady does. He's got the balls to run, elude tackles, dive or slam into a defender for a first. More versatile than Brady is, and thus the Eagles offense has more threats than the conservative Patriots. Bring any one of those teams out of the AFC to play a good elusive quarterback like McNabb, it doesnt matter who it is. The Eagles will do to the Pats what they did to the Falcons. I agree what you say about McNabb..But he has'nt faced a D= fence like the Patriots.
Brady like he always does, being the underated QB he is.Will have Trophy #3 in his hand after the game and will be on his way to Canton...

Truth be told, this matchup has NOT happened before. The New England Pats defense looks great against conservative, stay in the pocket quarterbacks. (Roethlisberger and Manning). McNabb and even Vick provide a different sort of weaponry that New England has not faced all season. Its not that McNabb hasnt faced a Defense like the Pats...the Pats defense has not faced a QB like McNabb. Patriots proved that you have to be a well rounded team to get far. Did the Colts have a better offense than the Patriots? Yeah. Better defense? Not by a long shot. Steelers? Better offense? No. Better Defense? Could be. Eagles? Better offense? It all depends on the way the secondary is playing, which isnt exactly a good thing for NE. Defense? Who knows again. They're both well rounded teams, and no one can doubt that. No one can say that the Colts and Steelers or even Falcons were more well rounded teams than the Patriots and Eagles. Not even close. Like the Pistons proved last year in the NBA Finals, you have to be a TEAM to win this thing, something that both the Eagles and Patriots have in their favor. I have the utmost respect for the Patriots but if youre picking them simply because they've won 2 Superbowls recently, your in for a big surprise come Sunday.

Reading predictions, I'd say its a 65/35 divide between people picking the Pats and people picking the Eagles. It's kind of funny...I cant wait for the Eagles to dismantle the Patriots and finally end all of this nonsense. "Man..the Pistons stand no chance! Look at those guys! They havent been to a Finals game since the change of the decade! Poor fools. The Lakers have Shaq and Kobe! You cant beat them! Theyre unbeatable!" We'll see how Mr. Clutch does against a real defense...and people are giving WAY too much credit to the NE secondary. Maybe if it was just Freddie Mitchell back there...but theres Westbrook too. And Owens. Hell even Pinkston. Westbrook and Pinkston can kill guys man to man because of T.O. This is my last post till the Super Bowl is over, I wish I didnt have so much school stuff to do otherwise I'd enjoy the game a little more. Hope everyone has fun, wherever they are tomorrow!

*sigh* Oh well. I give the Patriots the utmost respect, they played better, Philly had no answer for the run. Dillon was running all over them through 3 quarters. Donovan made mistakes I hadn't seen him make in previous games, and maybe he needs to learn to keep his cool for next year. It was a really good game nonetheless with the exception of that HORRENDOUS half time show. New England was just the better team today, and congrats to them. You still can not dismiss the fact that not only did Terrell Owens walk out there, he was a HUGE factor. They have all the elements needed to create a championship football team, but they just needed this sort of experience and perspective. Congrats to New England, and maybe next year the Texans make the playoffs!! Let's hope for a good offensive line in this years draft. Good season everyone.....

It was a good game mystik..I didnt think the Eagles had a prayer,but they played hard.I have to question their two minute drill though.....No sence of urgency what so ever towards the end....
Tom Brady.23 for 33....283 yrds passing......no int's 2 TD's...STUD!!! He earned his spot in the HALL OF FAME....Say what you want of Brady he is the man!

Yeah he was solid today. I dont get what the Eagles were doing towards the end, just stumbling around instead of hurrying up and trying to get it into field goal range. I still cant believe that half time show...Im surprised Big Bird, Barney and the Wiggles didnt join Paul McCartney up there.

It's really not so bad around here right now. Most people just kinda got bummed out and went home. Probably would have been worse if they won to be honest. I worked at the bar tonight, they were all loud and crazy during the game, but after it was over, it just got all quiet. I've never been a fan of all that limelight-grabbing-big-money-pay-for-a-spot-so-you-can-bore-the-people-to-death-and-make-a-fortune-in-advertising-bullshit. Getting laid has always been MY half-time show, at least as far back as '95... I suggest everyone try it, we should have a national campaign! 1/2 an hour is plenty of time to rub it, lick it, suck it, and fuck it!!! The haste can be fun, it's like "Beat the Clock" -exciting! Next up: Baseball, and I know that thread will be considerably lighter...
