I wasn't happy of course because Paquiao didn't win. Seems to me that The Pacman brought an AK-47 Assalt Rifle to the fight and Mayweather's defense was bullet proof. Paquiao worked so hard to get inside of Mayweathers reach advantage to connect with combos but 'Money' seemed to see it comming and avoided going toe-to-toe in a slugfest which I think he would've lost. Money kept backing up and running around and picking off points here-and-there while the Pacman tried to keep him against the ropes to stop this from happening. Mayweather fought smart but I would like to see a rematch in the near future just before he hangs up his gloves.

What do yous think?

I think that for how much those damn seats cost and everything overall, the hype..etc...Those guys should have been punching to kill each other last night and put on a better show. Of course it's all hype and Mayweather felt he didn't have to earn the win but running around the ring. If I paid $90k for those seats I would want to see someone lose an eyeball or get their skull crushed. I guess I will stick with MMA.

A clip from First Take. Skip Bayless, the guy who was rooting for Pacquiao all along, had a meltdown on live TV! Classic.

It was all too predictable, and I'm just happy I didn't get suckered into spending my money on that turkey.

Saw it, but didn't pay a dime for it, which I'm glad I didn't.

I will say this: Mayweather is the best boxer (not fighter) to box within the rules, and win within the parameters of the rules.

I think Manny was attempting to give the crowd their money's worth, whereas Mayweather just fought his typical fight. The reach advantage for Mayweather played a big factor in this, as Manny had to absorb a few jabs from Mayweather just to get inside to pull of his combination attack, many of which Mayweather just ended up hugging him, which he got points for. If I were Manny, I would have told Mayweather that if I had known he wanted to hug me that much, I would have simply invited him up to my room.

Ardent fans of boxing who paid for the fight have no leg to stand on when they complain that they didn't get their money's worth, because I would presume they already knew what Mayweather's fighting (or lack of) style is. Did they expect any different from him? He was the reason the fight was boring, because he has a boring "fighting" style. People used to complain that Mike Tyson would knock opponents out too early.

I had a hunch that for some reason this fight was going to be underwhelming, and I was right.

I also thought Max Kellerman was a bit of an ass to Manny in his post fight interview with him inside the ring. As a neutral judge and announcer, if Manny felt that he won the fight, there's no need to call him out on it and condescendingly make him feel like an idiot by challenging his feelings and statements. I don't see anything wrong with asking why he felt that he won, but as soon as he gives his reason why he thinks he did, leave it at that.

Still doesn't hold a candle to the entertainment value of the Hearns/Hagler fight when I was a youngster. They both knew they were going to spend the night in the hospital but who cares, real boxers they were...not to find anymore sadly.
