Okay. I was just mindlessly searching the web and I came across a very informative web site. Here is some info about feet that I, atleast never knew.

Feet
Smart parts. 1. The terminal end organs below the legs, used for standing, walking, dance, and display (see FOOTWEAR). 2. Those body parts which a. make direct contact with the earth and ground, b. reveal dominance and submission by toeing out or toeing in, respectively (see SHOULDER-SHRUG DISPLAY, Constituents); c. link to sexual modules of the brain's sensory parietal lobe (as expressed, e.g., in foot fetishism); d. inadvertently point toward or angle away from liked or disliked individuals, respectively; and e. through men's and women's shoes, mark gender, identity, and status.

Usage: Like our hands, our feet are neurologically gifted. As smart parts and sensory feelers, e.g., they are well connected to diverse areas of the brain. Feet are sexually expressive and sensitive, as well, through proximity to sensory nerves of the genitalia (toes and genitals abut on the sensory homunculus [Willis 1998C; see below, Neuro-notes]). For these reasons, feet are highly expressive organs which play a major role in nonverbal communication throughout the world.

Neuro-notes. Fewer human beings are strongly right-footed (46%) than strongly right-handed (72%). The foot bottom has the thickest skin of any body part (ca. an eighth of an inch). Yet despite their natural padding and cushioning layer of fat, feet are extremely sensitive. They have more tactile nerves than the back, legs, arms, or shoulders, and take up more room on the sensory, parietal neocortex (the SI cortex) than the entire torso (see HOMUNCULUS; toes and genitalia are neural neighbors on the parietal sensory strip). That feet are so well connected to the brain explains why they "think" and "speak" like (and seemingly crave the attention of) hands.

If you didnt want to read the whole thing heres the point to my post.

It also explains why I've got feet on the brain 24/7. Perhaps they're even better connected than they thought! hehe Cool info, Ferret. I already knew a lot of that information, but the part that I found the most interesting was that bit about 46% of the population being right-footed. I never really came across any statistics for that before, so that intrigued me.

Feet are very sexy and now I have scientific data to prove it [Big Grin] . Thanks Ferret.

Also, I found this interesting:
Talk Sex with Sue

They can reduce our affinity for feet, but not cure it. That is a profound statement [Laugh] . Folks can't cure my foot love. Its here to stay.

The main reason i love feet, is a womens relationship to them. Women who are barefoot (wives, mothers in particular) i call "Earth mothers". Because they prefer to be in touch with the soil. Wether it is plush carpet, grass, tiles, floorboards, or dirt. These are sensual people. The sort of woman who sits in a chair, legs up, and holds her foot. Or, even picks her toes. These, to me, are "earth mothers".

God, i have to write my manifesto one day!

Good post!

I would also like to add that it is very special people like us to like feet.

But, even more special are the people who appreciate it.

So, thank you to all the models!!!

And thanks to the people who share their visions.

P.S. Hey, i include myself. My av is my wife!

Amen to that, bro. Sue writes "Therapy and medication can reduce the attraction, but not cure it." As far as I know it isn't something that needs curing! Looks like I'm going to have to talk sex with Sue and straighten her out.

Calico Jack, someone needs to put,Sue straight that's for sure & personly speaking I don't even wish too have my admiration for ladies feet reduced let alone cured because as far as Im concerned were all extreamly lucky too have discovered the beauty of ladies feet & it's those guys who have not yet realised what a turn-on they are, that I genuinely feel sorry for because they will never know what their missing!

i'm always interested in finding out where my fetish came from, so i always like reading these articles that people find. thankyou for bringing it to my attention.

as for that second article- i dont need to be cured because i'm not sick(sometimes i wonder if i'm slghtly crazy, but im not sick). i'm happy with my fetish and i cant see myself without it. those psychologists can do their worst [Nana]

I like your attitude as it is along the same lines as my own thoughts.

That's an interesting way of looking at it, I guess it depends how much further you wish for it to develop.

Ferret, very well documented. This explains how, if one develops a fondness for feet quickly escalates to a fetish (actually called a partialism). (A fetish is an attraction to an inanimate object; a partialism is an attraction to a part of the human body. However, fetish is commonly used and is pretty much mainstream). The quick escalation to foot attraction sexually is probably due to the neural pathways developed between the sex and foot centers in the brain which are close together.

This reminds me of the a post I saw not too long ago from Discovery Health, talking about feet. Very similar. Nice post, thanks!

I've heard that same explanation posited before and it does seem perfectly reasonable to me. However, when asked in casual conversation why I like female feet so much, I always just find it much easier to simply blurt out "Because they're freakin' hot!" It's not an approach that I'd exactly call scientific, but it works for me!
