a few of my close female friends know. one has apologized twice for not wearing the type of footwear I like. my ex knows. my fiance knows. she's told a few of her friends (but not clear on the details).. but they've asked a few times if I was happy with what I saw. a few guy friends have figured though i don't think i've told them. a few of my siblings pieced it together but don't konw the extent to which i like feet. i just try hard not to let folks who will talk to my parents know. that is the rule.

My wife is the only one who knows about my fetish to my knowledge. The only other person who might know anything, but I don't think she does, is my wife's best friend CM (female) who lives in California. Though they grew up together and roomed together in college I found out years ago that CM told my wife much more about her sex life than my wife told her. Only two good friends of mine know about my fetish - my friend of several years whom I still hang out with to this day - although I only told him once and nothing more has been said of it. It's ashame becuase he's into feet also. I also a female friend of mine - she has sexy soles, but I've never had any opportunity whatsoever to indulge myself. She left her boots at my house five years ago (before I really got into other aspects of the fetish) or I would have inhaled those things like crazy!!! Oh yeah, I definitely agree with what ghost had to say on the matter. I've always addressed the importance of locale when discussing why some people have an easier time expressing their fetish than others, not to mention the fact that geography affords some folks far more opportunities and outlets to indulge in their fetish desires than others. Living in NYC has definitely been of major significance in my life as an active foot fetishist. NYC is a very liberal city which has undoubtedly nurtured and influenced my decision to be open with people about my foot fetish from the very beginning, and to see it as a healthy part of my sexual identity rather than a flaw or oddity to be hidden. Furthermore, living here has not only made it possible for me to live out every foot-related fantasy that I've ever had, but to do so on a regular basis. I always stress the importance of qualities like confidence, intelligence, patience, good hygiene, sense of humor and the like when discussing the makings of a successful foot fetishist, but the sheer value that a prime geographic location can offer simply cannot be overlooked.

Three female work colleagues suspected I had a shoe/boot fetish. The one who works closest to me (in the same office), I have corrected - i.e. I have told her I have a foot fetish (although footwear may well be a big part of it). I'm fairly sure she has kept that to herself. Other than that only my wife knows.

I spend my time bouncing back and forth between Brooklyn and Long Island myself, but a good deal of the foot activity that I've engaged in over the last ten years or so has also taken place right in the heart of Manhattan itself.
