Pretty close call for me too- pretty feet and toes are pretty feet and toes- but no question that polish makes them stand out more, defines them better (as mentioned) and can lend a certain attitude (based on the color) to a girl's feet.

Perfect toes don't need polish but it's rare I see a woman that have perfectly healthy looking nails so I voted for polish.

Sometimes, a girl's toenails look kinda weird if they're not painted, even though her feet and toenails in general look real good. So yeah, I prefer painted, but I'm not the type to turn any nice pair of feet down simply because the toenails aren't polished.

Almost all the unpainted nails I see are frankly unacceptable- nevermind the fact that when a chick's toes are unpainted they just look plain and barren. Therefore, two reasons that nails should always be painted : 1) to cover up ugliness/defects 2)if the feet in question happen to be perfect, or close to, then the color merely enhances the feet.

Well I prefer them painted. However, that doesn't mean I can't be attracted to plain toes too. I have seen some sexy toes that were just plain. Also there are times women can polish their toes the totally wrong color and it can look awful.

I concur. 98% of the time I prefer painted toe nails. Good toenails beds really determine the quality of the (painted or plain) toes.

Definitely painted. I prefer a bright or deep red. I think it enhances the look of the toes. I'm lucky enough that my wife hasn't gone without paint on her toenails since well before I met her. She's always kept them painted, even in the winter when no one sees them (well, except me now, of course).

I must be crazy, cos I have never been into painted nails (although they can look good). I made my fiance promise to never paint hers, ha. I just prefer that natural look. Paint is distracting i guess

I'd prefer painted above any other option. Any shade of red or pink, or maybe even a chrome or black color can just do female feet justice...IMO.
French tips, colored or plain white are hot also. I think I like colored tips only 'cause aside from looking sexy as hell, it looks cool.
Nail art does nothing for me though. Maybe a tiny flower or butterfly, but glitter is just WAY too much overkill.

Although I lean towards painted, I have seen some amazing natural toes. If she has taken care of her feet and can go natural, then by all means. The biggest deciding factor is simply this: Are her feet taken care of? Are they pedicured?
I have seen some painted toes that are pretty gnarly as well as some natural ones.

Unpainted. Really, I'm surprised at the preferences of some people here, and surprised to hear one person use terms like "barren" or want what they perceive as flaws "covered up." That's like wanting to embrace a lie.
In the case of unpainted, we're talking about a physical part of the body that you're attracted to in its natural state. That should be good enough. I certainly wouldn't want a woman to look at a part of me and say that it needed some artificial enhancement for her to be turned on.
I only concur with those who say that they like painted toes as an enhancement, not as a requirement.

This a question to which i have no answer to. i love both, during the summer, my wife has them painted all the time, she loves to ask me " what color would you like this time?". And during the winter i tell her no to bother because i can really see much anyway so she hardly paint them during the winter but, for some reason in also love that a lot also.

honestly i like them both plain and painted. but there's definitely something about a woman that has painted toe nails that drives me nuts. i find that red, black, dark blue, and neon orange are some of my favorite colors.

I totally agree. I guess you and me are the black sheeps. I do not like nail polish at all. Never have never will. I think they are so much sexyer without. It kills it for me when they are painted. I was the same way with my past girls trying to get them not to paint there toe nails. Another thing that makes me different is I am also really turned off on foot jewlery. I am not into anklets or toe rings at all. Just plain regular feet without all that stuff. Guess I am just different
