"The Sugar Shack" by Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs. It's just a cutesy little bubblegum pop song that I'd normally avoid, but once I caught the lyrics I instantly liked it. Check out this part:

That is the only description given about the girl in the song, but the song is about this guy wanting badly to hook up with her. He eventually marries her and they wind up going back to The Sugar Shack...but I somehow identified with the dude in the song, easily picturing myself wanting to make some conversation with a girl who runs around barefoot, and not being able to get her out of my mind once I noticed her.

Fer cryin' out loud, tootsylover....! Why didn't I think of that one? I only played it in the fourth set for 3 years. Mid-Late 80's; the girls knew it was coming and all the shoes came off; even in the dead of winter, the last set had a bunch of barefoot girls out dancing. My favorite foot song is most likely "Toes" by Norah Jones. I love that image of her splashing her feet in the water.
