ok i tried sending andrew some tights/flats of mine for his birthday, but by the time they got there the smell had pretty much gone.

how do you guys package your socks/shoes when you sendthem to ensure the smell doesnt disappear?

thanks in advance [Smile]

Yeah, I received worn socks from Goddess Dee about a couple of weeks ago, and the smell was fantastic. The socks were kept in a zip-lock bag. Definitely use them Athena, the will work very well.

This double bagging is important and so is making sure you squeeze ALL extra air out of packaging.

Athena, i never send out socks... no market for it... lol!!

but wifee has sent me stuff in the past.. the double ziplocking it and also squeezing all the air out is the best trick to date i've seen work!

I sent out a pair of 5 day worn socks in ziplock bags, double to be exact. And Mommie is on to something...I squeezed out all extra air from both bags to make sure the smell stayed. The guy who got them said when he first sniffed them, and I quote, "they smelled so good I almost nut in my pants!"

I just did it like I do when I freeze food, I firstly use a real ziploc bag, Not one of the cheaper brands.I set a straw right up to the product and suck the air out while squeezing and pull the straw out slowly while sucking [Big Grin] I know you guys are gonna make that into something evil lol. It works great for freezing food so I know it would work the same for socks [Wink] ...Shelley

Wicked! I am glad it worked so well for you Sasha!! It rocks when they instantly get hard with the opening of a little old Ziploc baggie [Wink]

Zip Lock bags are a must and YES, BE SURE TO SQUEEZE OUT all of the extra air. Air tight keeps the smell lasting longer.
