Hey everyone,

I have a Question Im sure a lot of people wounder, Do you think if a woman is wearing at least 1 toering she is more likely to have a foot fetish or be into feet more than a woman not? Also i want your take, are toerings sexy? why dont more woman wear toerings? Is this a foot fetish sign?

Posted by sole arch-bishop (Member # 30462) on :

Depends on the girl I guess. I believe that toerings are very sexy, in fact I think that big toe rings are about the sexiest thing there is. While it may or may not indicate they have a foot fetish, there is a better chance that she takes care of them and would be more open to potential foot play.

Not a very reliable one I wouldn't say, but I suppose it *is* an indicator for the fetish.

For example, I bought my GF a set of toe-rings - she probably wouldn't have got them otherwise...

And yes, they're sexy (in moderation).

Good question. I agree with the initial response. I think toerings are sexy. Although it may not signify a woman is into having her feet worshipped, it certainly signifies that she acknowledges that her feet are there (as opposed to just covering them up with sneakers or boots all of the time). Now if she goes the whole nine yards with toerings, a nice pedicure with a hot toenail polish and artwork and shows them off in public wearing thong-like sandals, wedges, flip-flops, or strappy and / or open toes heels, then you can argue she may appreciate a guy who can tend to her feet, or at least is more likely to be open to compliemnts on her feet.

Toe rings are very sexy, but just cause a woman wears them doesn't mean she is into foot fetish. Could mean she likes how they make her feet pretty, like wearing any other kind of jewelry.

at least she knows that her tootsies exist and yes, imho, if you got a little bit of game, you could probably wind up rolling the toe rings around your mouth while you show her in your own special way just how pretty you think she is [Tongue]

No. Toe rings are NOT an indication of a foot fetish. Do women who wear ear rings have an ear fetish? What if she wears more than one pair? What if she wears numerous bracelets? These are all fashion accessories. While many fashion articles can be found in many stores..making women look all alike..fashion accesories like toe rings, shoes, bracelets, earings, necklaces ect give the outfit a unique look. They are nothing more than decoration an in no way a indicator of her psychology.

Want to know the secret of whether or not she'll be cool with you sucking her toes???

If she's had sex with you and wants to have sex with you again...odds are in your favor that she'll be game for any footplay. Those odds sky rocket when you make her orgasm.

It's really that simple. Get her into bed and those feet you see:in class, at the bar, on the street ect are yours.

I find it interesting that people on this forum(in general) are far more apt to talk about stealing a pair of shoes to get off on than to talk about the fundamentals of showing a woman a good time...so in turn you can show her your foot fetish.

It's an interesting question and one that I've asked myself before.

I think that to some degree there is an element of truth in it. I mean, you would expect a girl with a foot fetish to show off her feet, and what better way than with some toe rings to draw attention to them.

On the other hand, the vast majority of girls wearing toe rings probably do not have a foot fetish and just wear them because they think they look good.

Still, I think that a girl wearing toe rings will be more receptive about a guy with a foot fetish, whether or not she has one, for the simple reason that she likes her feet enough to decorate them with jewellery. Girls that hate feet are typically going to try and hide theirs as much as possible.

Girls wearing toe rings = fuck yeah!

There was a "woman's day magazine" study years ago about this and yes, toe rings are an indication that the girl is more prone to be "openminded" about her tootsies. Are women with tats more open than women with none, piercings, birth control, blah, blah.

I know what your trying to say. And yes, the obvious points about not being creepy with women is so very key. Totally hit the nail on that one, but still, I digress.

This is more applicable to how promiscuous or extroverted someone is. Ring on thumb, toe-rings, anklets and other jewelry, tattoos or piercings, animal prints are indicative of a more promiscuous and a confident extrovert.

Unless culturally dictated as in India for example, where elaborate henna ink and piercings are everywhere.

You would need several visible signs and then compare them against what that person does for a living. A punk rock singer with ink and toe rings is not the same as a realtor or a lawyer with ink and toe-rings.

Women don`t have foot fetishes. Some of them may be into the foot fetish thing, but they don`t have sexual foot fetishes.

Well I'd say that's down to definitions, I mean Athena, for example gets aroused by foot-play...so it's debatable whether or not she has a fetish (for foot-play if not simply for feet). It's just easier to group it all under "feet".

Posted by Hal (Member # 3484) on :

^ But that is not the definition of a fetish. She would have a foot fetish if she could get aroused or even orgasm by simply seeing/touching/smelling someone else`s feet.

Women who are turned on by foot-play or by teasing men with their feet do not have a foot-fetish.

BTW. this topic has probably been discussed a dozen times in the last years. Every few months someone will ask if "a woman has a foot fetish if she wears heels/nylons/foot-jewellery". The answer is always NO!
Usually the posters mistake sexual fetish for preference or for something else.

Just wishfull thinking. Oddly enough guys would rather analyze these signs(toe rings, foot tattoos, barefoot alot, flip flops in the cold, nylons, foot jewelry, uses feet as hands ect) instead of analyzing what attracts women in the first place. Woman being attracted is the ONLY indicator that she will be open to foot fetish.

Hal is right on both counts.

I think that toe-rings can be very sexy.

In the 80's, toe-rings were virtually unheard of; at that time I might have agreed that women who wore them were aware of the effect their feet had on some men and were more open to footplay. At this point, toe-rings are quite commonplace and make no greater statement than the color choice of eyeliner.

I agree with GQ and Hal, but I have found a few interesting coincidences. A woman with a toe ring is not more likely than a woman without one to like foot attention. Same with a woman with two toe rings (found that one out the hard way. But, a woman with 3 or more toe rings has a huge potential for foot appreciation. Another thing I have noticed is that a woman that polishes her toes green is more than likely aware of the sexual nature of her feet.

Toe rings = Foot Fetish? No.

My take is that if a woman wears a toe ring or has some neat design on the toe, it's just another part of her body in which she feels good about and likes to show them off, kinda like her finger nails, boobs, butt, etc...whatever makes her feel good and creates some attention...it boosts her self esteem.

I have never had a woman wearing multiple toerings turn me down for pictures of her feet. Or a footrub. When I see a girl with them, I'm more inclined to go for those things.

Granted, this is a fairly small N, and as I have photographed many, many more women with 0-1 toerings, it's a shaky assumption from a statistical point of view. Qualitatively, however, I have found that women with 2-8 toerings are comfortable talking about their feet and letting me photo and rub them. They also had a "knowing" kind of bearing when I engaged them about their feet, if that makes sense.

That said, GQ has a point when he says, "Don't be the creepy foot guy." This is a consistent theme in his posts on all kinds of subjects. Bearing that in mind, if you have the basic ability to chat a girl up (being interested in her, giving your full attention, etc.), you can, IMO, be confident that when you chat up that girl with n+1 toerings, you can guide the interaction to her feet with positive results.

So to me, the rings don't indicate a fetish, but they do suggest an inroad of some kind. Being creepy will close that inroad. So, engage the girl, then engage her feet.

Women definitely do have foot fetishes. I've met several that do and actively seek out feet. Sorry Hal, you're wrong.

Going to point out that Belladonna, the pornstar, does have a foot fetish. She admits in her blogs that she gets turned on and wants to suck on girl's toes all the time. She is the driving force behind the foot play stuff on her adult label.

So while it is rare, I won't say no females do. I often say when girls say they have fetishes for shoes because they buy them, that's not a fetish. But with Belladonna getting off by other girl's feet, I sure classify that as a fetish.

Patrick

P.S. If you orgasm just by touching feet, I wouldn't classify that as a foot fetish either. I classify that as no self control. LOL

Just on a side note (and maybe some of the women on here can concur with me), but just as we men have an attraction to women feet, I've come across many women that pay attention a man's hand.

I asked one friend what she found attractive in a man hands. She pointed out she liked men with masculine hands (not frail and girly, whatever that means).

I also dated a girl for awhile that used to like to suck on my fingers....really!

I actually forgot all about Belladonna. I have one of her clips and remember that she mentioned being into feet. If it is true she is a very rare exception.
My second fetish is the balloon-fetish. In that scene almost every model and webmistress claims to have a balloon-fetish as well, and claims to get turned on by popping balloons. I doubt any of it is true -- it is just a good way of selling more clips [Wink]

Hal,

Belladonna was doing the foot thing in behind the scenes web shots on her MySpace before she even was majorly pushing her own brand. I used to watch her blogs and when I saw a foot shot, it made me look. I started going through her history in the blogs and noticed a trend. Even in clips where she was just doing girl/girl, or had a girl coming over for some interracial or anal, she'd often take photos of the other girl's feet and comment on her shoes, pedicures, etc. Quite a few times there were shots of her kissing the girl's feet and always stories about how she wanted them.

I think it is possible for a girl to have a foot fetish, but on the same token I think Hal is absolutely right. I think women don't have foot fetishes, granted that they are straight women.

In practice I've met two who were, but they were into girls as you've pointed out.

I agree with FtLckr26 as I used to wear toe rings just because I always liked rings on my fingers and always took care of my fingernails ... so I in turn always took care of my toenails too! And without even thinking about my feet as being sexy (in fact back then I referred to them as "just feet") -- I still liked how a toe ring looked.

Its not really practical to say that a woman cant have a foot fetish.

Women can have the same attractions to objects/people that men have.
Some women even love to receive footjobs (although its performed differently than a footjob on a man, it's still a footjob)

Pornstar Iroc has stated that she actually orgasms from using her feet for footjobs, and i've seen several clips where she goes after another womans feet as quickly as a man would.lol

Anyway, i dont how informative it is but i got this from Wikipedia:
Characteristics
Foot fetishism has been defined as a pronounced sexual interest in the feet or footwear. Freud considered foot binding as a form of fetishism.[3] For a foot fetishist, points of attraction include the shape and size of the foot and toes (e.g., long toes, short toes, painted toes, high arches, slender soles, fat toes, long toenails, short toenails, small feet, toenail color, etc), jewelry, toe rings, ankle bracelets, treatments e.g. French pedicure, state of dress (e.g., barefoot, flip flops, high heels, ballet flats, or clad in socks or nylons), odor, and any form of sensory interaction, e.g. licking, kissing, sucking toes, tickling, person giving foot jobs, or trampling/stomping and shoeplay.[3], socks sniffing, socks licking can also be included in the list.

Research
Relative frequency
In order to estimate the relative frequency of fetishes researchers at the University of Bologna examined 381 Internet discussions of fetish groups, in which at least 5,000 people had been participating. Researchers estimated the prevalences of different fetishes based on (a) the number of discussion groups devoted to a particular fetish, (b) the number of individuals participating in the groups and (c) the number of messages exchanged. It was concluded that the most common fetishes were for body parts or for objects usually associated with body parts (33% and 30% respectively). Among those people preferring body parts, feet and toes were preferred by the greatest number, with 47% of those sampled preferring them. Among those people preferring objects related to body parts, footwear (shoes, boots, etc.) was most preferred (64%).
