Just curious as to how many old timers out there remember what it was like before the advent of the internet and foot fetish websites like Wu's & Foot Fetish Tube?

I can still recall how juiced up I would get in anticipation of watching televised events like Olympic Synchronized Swimming, Women's Gymnastics and Female Body Building competitions.

Also back in the 1980's when women would wear those clog like Dr. Sholl's sandals which I thought at the time were great. That was before flip flops came out, which exposed much more of women's feet than the clogs did.

I do have to readily say that we have come a long way since those dark days of yesteryear.

i go back even further than that, i remember when i was growing up we had nothing, my dads playboys was about it, then leg show came out and then i figured i wasn't the only guy who liked feet that there must be more like me out there, yes it's way better today i'd say lol

Oh, those 8(ish) years of my life without the internet...(lol) [Tongue]

I certainly do. For me it was catalogues and live sightings that fed my fetish until the internet came along. And yes I remember the Dr. Scholls. As I mentioned in a recent post that was my fiance's only summer footwear when we were dating. She also wore them on or honeymoon. Though I much prefer flip flops and thin strapped flat sandals because of those experiences I have great fondness for them.

Women's magazine were (and still are) a good source for feet. Yoga videos, too!

I remember when the net first started and the choices were like In The Feet of The Night (which was originally a BBS) and a site called Peter's Feet Folder. waaaaaaaaay back.

there was existence before internet? [Thud]

[Laugh] jk. i wonder what kid of the future will be saying about our lifestyle. "You had to go on a computer to get streaming porn!?!?"

Yeah, what's next?
Holographic (3D) computers, perhaps! [Smile]

Before I even started using the Internet for feet stuff, I used clothing magazines, where during the summer months they had the models wearing sandals and flip-flops with the outfits they were showing off.

Victoria Secret magazines! Had a HUGE collection under my bed. Most embarrassing day ever was when my brother found them under my bed and told my mom. Traumatic experience. She cried. I was 14-15.

Sears catalog, Sunday ads in the newspaper, any random picture of a girl's bare feet I might find. By the time I got into college I found the book "The Sex Life of the Foot and Shoe" which helped answer some questions. Then a guy that was in my dorm loaned me a stack of porno mags of which 90% were LegShow. That answered the rest of the questions. Started getting real live foot action after that. That was in the mid 1980s.

I recall making a few pages of the Sears catalogue quite sticky [Tongue]

Sears catalogues, celebrity gossip mags lol and recording music video's that featured feet onto VHS.....I look back and just shake my head. But it makes you really see how far technologically we have come in society [Smile]

Fortunately I've always had internet. Ever since I was young I've had a foot fetish. I recall girls in second grade teasing me about it on a trip to the beach. All I recall is them saying look, feet! Then when Power Rangers came out I think the first episode the pink ranger did gymnastics so seeing her feet was an early memory. As I got older and more used to the internet I must have been surfing the web and came across Wu's.

Yep all i had was catalogs, i would get all happy in the summer when i was about 9years old to have the JC penny and sears spring and summer catalogs come out.

Im not alone then. Yeah catalogs, adverts posters. (The flake advert in the bath tube i recorded it on VHS and watched over and over again.) Also used to buy a uk foot fetish magazine. They were based in essex.

now you dont need to use the wank bank(memories)you can use candid pics from phones and the web. So much better these days. It was hard in the old days. LOL

Long before Wu's we romantics wandered the galaxy like astroids, looking for gravitation pull from dangling pumps and footie socks. Yes, romance sprung in spring with the delivery of the catalogs. In the 1980's some magazines begin to break the ice for the lonely lover of female feet. Wu, however, has created an interactive community of intellectual exchange for the world's most evolved romantics.

Ahhh. Expertly written. Perfectly charachterized my life time love affair with the beautiful female foot. A romance full of passion for the ages.

GQ

If only we could call it a "romance for the lower extremity" instead of foot fetish. Even the word foot does't do justice to what I see on the bottom of a beautiful woman's leg. I see a work of art that God worked on for mellinia perfecting choosing only a few to truly appreciate the masterpiece. No person without a foot fetish will experience as much passion or the rush in any stage of sexual anticipation that we feel when we remove that delicate adornment from the tips of
that beautiful woman's toes.

GQguy, I agree wholeheartedly to your rebuff of the term "foot fetish", which is an just an insulting description of a psychological abnormality. My desires are not a threat or degradation to my lover, but yet a more definitive way for me to pay tribute to the power of her beauty. What we ourselves may not be able to adequately express in words we certainly can express with caresses and kisses. An unbridled appreciation for a beautiful woman, without reservation, is a trait of which I am proud.

Frederick's of Hollywood, Victoria's Secret, and JC Penney catalogs were what I got my foot fix from. Frederick's of Hollywood was my favorite, though. They had the shoe section where it would be just a cloe-up of a foot in a sexy shoe. I hato wait a week or two before i could get my hands on the catalogs as they were my sister's and if I took it too soon, she would ask me where was it. As I got into cars, there were a few magazines that had women barefoot modeling cars. Hot Rod had an issue where 5 models were barefoot and they had the sexiest feet with good close-up views of their feet. Lowrider magazine was another, but the models always wore shoes.

Wow...As much as I liked feet, I never really searched for pics or videos...I knew that I liked certain feet...But, I found and still find most feet to be repulsive...I used to look at porn (before I knew about fetish porn) and just wait for a glimpse of the girls feet...I actually stumbled up on Wu's only because I googled "Foot Fetish or Pretty feet"...This was 2009....Before that, I HAD NO IDEA THAT THERE WERE SOOOOO MANY OF US, SO MANY PICS , OR SO MUCH MATERIAL...But I'm glad to be a part of the Fraternity...lol

I remember being a Freshman in College in 1968. I went to a swimming met at the school and after seeing those find ass girls naked feet on the swimming team. I was playing on joining the team next year. Anyway, I played in the Marching band but I was a good smimmer too. I remember at the age of 12 to 18 watch the Miss America pageant. I went to a lot of Base ball games in the Summer. I rode the Subway a lot at the age of 12. I rode the City bus a lot too. Most of all I purchase porno mags and dated lots of different girls to women according to my age.

Yes. I'm new to posting, but have visited WUs for 10 or so years. I'm in my upper 20s and remember in my early teens buying tabloids. I remember looking through them before I bought them and one memory comes to mind. I remember Christine Taylor around her Brady Bunch movie time in one with blue polish. It's a good thing I knew better bc I would of more than likely ran to the bathroom with it.

there used to be a bunch of sites, to be honest. I remember one called weetee's foot page, which had about 40 foot pictures in different categories. I also remember back when geocities had their neighborhoods and everyone who had one would post pictures or repost pictures. I remember that there were huge resources of celebrity feet all over the net. I also remember having dial-up through AOL, when AOL was new, and there were channels that you could search through and all of the image files that I downloaded, from AOL's service, were given a .art file extension which was like an AOL image file that only you could read with AOL's IE. I remember finding huge amounts of images online and saving them to my hard drive. I also remember copying them onto 4.25 inch floppies for easy storage. There was actually a lot of foot fetish material online back in the 90's, before Wu, I believe. But it wasn't until Wu started to organize it with their link directory and then afterwords offered contribution and such.

Oh my...i am 52 and still remember my mother getting the Avon's fashions catalog in the mail. I wore the pages off the shoes section of that little catalog. Still can remember fretting over the sticky pages I left and hiding it so I could have it all to myself.

Wusfeetlink is what helped me to know that I wasn't alone in a foot fetish. When I first realized I had it, I thought it was some psychological mess-up. Finding websites like this one, and the growing popularity, showed me that foot fetishism is pretty popular.

Not to mention it was also the first I found to have foot fetish pictures. Man. Those first days discovering foot fetish porn for the first time. Haha. They filled my weeks with so much "personal time."

Similar to Catsman, I am also an Old timer.

Looking at the various responses to the post, has brought back a shit load of memories I had basically forgot about until being reminded as I read.

In addition to the Victoria's Secret's, J C Penny's, Sunday ads, etc, reading William Rossi's book, "The Sex life of the Foot & Shoe'. was the first mainstream publication I had read that legitimized my love of women's feet.

It was basically the first time that I really felt there were other people out there who were foot guys like me.

Wu's is a superior web site which is well moderated and apparently visited by primarily intelligent people, which is a God Send.

That there are literally thousands of foot fetish videos, photos and websites on the internet, tells me that there are a lot more people into feet than i would have ever thought possible back during my formative years.

Basically the pause button on the VCR remote. Didn't have anything pornographic (and wouldn't have wanted to back then), but I watched erotic scenes on primetime dramas, and a few scenes on commercials.

I remember this great close-up during a Long John Silvers commercial about a woman supposedly having an affair. She kicks her shoes off just as her husband barges in and finds her with fish.

Nice comments. In the back of my mind, I probably knew I wasn't "alone," but it was sort of confirmed for me when I saw scenes like this one on Models Inc, and this one on Melrose Place.

Since the '90s, scenes like these have become a little less rare in films/TV.

Of course, these days having a real girlfriend is preferable.

Remarkably, that is the second time within a week that I have seen Carrie Ann Moss getting her feet licked in a film.

Is that a coincidence or could there be a possibility that even in real life, Carrie Ann enjoys using her feet as part of the action?
