Mine is in a hidden folder in My Pictures called "Secret Haven", which has another folder called "Happy Feet" (which, despite being in My Pictures, also includes videos as well). And no, it absolutely does not have anything to do with dancing penguins.

Though my account is already password-protected, and I'm pretty much the only person who use this laptop (well, it IS my laptop). So unless I leave my account open and folders up, no one would ever find my stash. [Laugh]

It's ok being in a hidden folder aslong as your account has a password & the folder is hidden & not visible(like you said)it's fine.
If you happen to leave your account open or a friend wants to quickly use your comp you maybe at risk if that friend or person is comp savvy & decides to snoop, they may find your hidden folder(s).
Also in the "Start" menu on your comp where you can click "Search" people can search & click "Search Hidden Files & Folders" & they will show up.
I think the only safe way is to install some kind of Lock Folder that will lock your folders into it completely, without them showing up in "Search" or anywhere for that matter.One Lock Folder i installed, hid my chosen folders completely but,i have a feeling that when i un-installed the pro, it took my folders or some of them with it so i lost a couple which really pissed me off [Mad]

I used to store my content on the computer, but when my computer crashed, I lost a lot of GOOD stuff... So now I have not 1, but 2 hard drives that I use to store everything, that way, its always w/me...
On my phone, I downloaded an app that allows u to hide pics & videos, & u would never know its there, its the bomb..

I keep it on my external hard drive and all the folders are clearly labeled. Anyone who knows me knows that they really don't want to go searching too far afield on my computor.

I do keep my more "straight" porn separate and also clearly marked for those who want to find porn more to their liking.

I store all of mines on an external hard drive. In fact which i'm almost full with now. Think I am gonna get a 2 or 3 tb drive to keep collecting.

It just occurred to me to mention that the stuff I most want other users (not that there are that many) not to see is in a very prominent folder labeled "Instructions - Do Not Delete".

Believe me, nobody wants to read instructions.
