So I was in the mall earlier today and these 2 fairly good looking chicks that worked at this jewelry store stopped me and asked about my tattoos on my arm. We chit-chatted for a while and had a few laughs when another employee from the store walked up to join the convo. Now I can spot a pair of open toes shoes from a mile away so when she walked up I caught a quick glimpse of the 10 most sexiest black french tip toenails I've seen in a while. "GOOOODDAMN!" was the first thing that popped into my head. So after the chat I left to grab some oxyelite pro from GNC. So I'm leaving the mall and decide to call that same jewelry store when I get home to ask if she would be interested in foot modeling. I should've asked her in person(which I always do) but didn't want to out myself to her employees and make it seem like I was trying to mack to her while she was at work. Now if it were just me and her talking I would've busted out my card quick and do my usually pitch I do. Anyways so I get home and called the store and asked for the light skinned chick who was wearing the blk/wht dress that worked there and by my surprise it was her who I was talking to LOL. I described myself to her and asked if she remembered me. She was like "oh yeah, I do", the guy with the tattoos." So I'm thinking cool! and just went straight for it and asked if she would be interested in foot modeling for my website. She seemed surprised and replied "MEEE?" and starting giggling. I was like yeah, I can give you my website address to check out just in case your interested. She was like "noooo thats ok" and started laughing. I was like Oh ok then LOL.. and we hung up. I can kind of tell it caught her by surprised but DAMN that would've been an awesome find if she was cool with it. I get rejected alot of times which I don't mind at all. Its usually the giggle and no that ok response I get. I never get negative responses at all. Most think its funny and never been approached with that lol. I always pat myself on the back for at least trying and not regretting later on during the day wondering "what if".. Oh well just had to write about it. Damn she was HOT!

I applaud your efforts man. Always nice to hear someone brave enough to go for what they want. My thing is shoe sizes and I have had almost the same results.

Its not often girls approach guys, so when they do, we have to capitalize on it. Their approach was a clear IOI [indicator of interest]. All you had to do was know what to say, and how to say it.
The girls opened you, not the other way around. They opened you with an observational opener, using your tattoos as the means to meet you. You all transitioned into conversation to build rapport and gain comfort with each other.
You could have used your tattoos to discuss art, creativity, and open-mindedness. Girls enjoy guys who can make them feel certain emotions. So the light-skinned girl comes up, and you seg by mentioning how feet can be artistic and beautiful. Talk about how fingers and toes are similar, and women decorate both. Once the girls start to see what you mean, then you can blow them away by telling them what else you do. That is your DHV [demonstration of high value]. It shows them you are more than just a guy wearing art, you make art!
Make sure to qualify [see if she is right for the shoot] her to make sure she is someone who likes to meed new people and try new things.
You then escalate [take things to a different level] by telling the girl she would be fantastic for your site. Tell her she can have someone accompany her to build her confidence [it also will help her feel safe with you if you haven't built enough comfort with her], such as one of the other employees there.
Calling the store up after you left made you look as if you didn't have confidence, and women love confidence! Its like telling your buddy to approach a girl for you because you have no confidence to do it. When you called her job, you lost your confidence points. Also, she was no longer emotional, she was logical because she was working. When she was talking with you in person, she was emotional.

It's obvious that you're good at what you do. (I love your site by the way, We seem to have similar taste in peds)...I think that you would have come of better asking her in person. The phone seems so detached and leaves a sense of (weirdo) to it if the person doesn't know you.
I wouldn't give up quite yet. I would make a few pass by's at the mall. Looking good, smelling good..You know, the routine. Waiting for the opportunity to strike up a convo (WITHOUT MENTIONING FEET)...You already know that once she gets to know you and get comfortable SHE'S GONNA POP THOSE SANDLES OF SOOOOOO FAST FOR SOME PICS..Plus you're gonna have to get her to check out the site..Once she see's the high class level and overall elegant look of the site, SHE'S GONNA DO IT. The only way she won't is if she has a "Foot Phobia"...Good luck hunting...

Yeah I know once I thought about it I should've just went for it while we were face to face. Oh well, I'm not beating myself up over it, just a learning experience I guess. Still new to this and will get better as time goes on. Sometime its just a hit and miss. Thnx for the input fellas

@ Spot: yeah I know could've had that in the bag lol. It was just one of those times where I second guesses myself when I should've just went for the kill so to speak. Reason I love San Diego is because there's so many women out here you can basically just restart all over where u left off and not worry about not seeing another set of great looking feet to go after. Seems like a full time job but I love it!
